  1. .

My top genres are fantasy, horror, slice of life (with a lot of dramas lmao), and mystery. I generally love otome games that delve into darker genres. Steampunk as well. My least favorite is historical fiction (tho i'd still play it if it's interesting), the story can be difficult to follow...
  2. What do you play otome on?

I often use PC for bigger screen and storage. Happy with my emulator despite it being laggy from time to time. Besides, I'm too broke to buy other devices.
  3. What's one trope or type of love interest you absolutely can't stand in otome games?

LI's with past relationship with another major character (worse if it's another LI). Another one is playboy types, tbh, a hit or miss, what I dislike is the lack of boundaries with the other female characters even if there's already an established relationship/feelings with the MC. Lastly...
  4. Have you ever set an otome game wallpaper on your PC, phone or tablet?

Yes! I used to have Il as my wallpaper on my old PC
  5. Which otome game have you started and never finished?

The number of otome games I haven't finished is probably more than the ones I've completed. One otome game that I remember dropping because the story isn't for me is 7'scarlet.
  6. What was the first otome game you played on different platforms?

The first otome I played was Amnesia on pc. I was so upset when i found out I couldn't play the fandisks on my PC that time
  7. What was your biggest mobile otome shut-down heartbreak?

Definitely Shall We Date and Voltage games. I mourn them to this day.
  8. Did growing up change your taste in LIs ?

It didn't change that much. I still find myself gushing over the same LI archetype I've loved since I was like 12 lmao. My taste in LIs just broadened, I guess? I've grown to love some tropes that younger me wouldn't find attractive at all.
  9. Which one do you prefer? Only playing bl games or only playing otome games for the rest of your life?

As much as I love my BL games, I'm with my first love (otome games) with this one.
  10. Returning to an otome game after a long break: restart or continue?

Depends on whether I remember the important plot points or not. I'd restart if I genuinely can't recall the plot.
  11. Do you care more about the heroine's character design or the romanceable characters'?

I care more about the LI's design than the heroine. That's like the one of the main selling points to me. Maybe because I'm kinda used to a heroine with no definite physical appearance as I've been playing a lot of indie games with that kind of MC atm. So, the MC's design is not an issue...
  12. How much time do you spend on a single otome game?

Depends on how long the game is and how motivated I am. I can go from finishing within the day to a full week. Usually, if the game has more than 3 LIs, it can take me a week to finish it.
  13. Do you like Simulation games?

I like them, but, I agree with some comments here about how repetitive it can be as you progress. What I dislike is sometimes the raising stats aspect takes a long time to do and the actual content or romance time with the LIs is so short.
  14. Do you use the Auto Play function when reading VNs?

Sometimes when I'm playing for hours and just want to lay down. Better, if there's voice acting, it's like watching an anime but it's interactive.
  15. What's was your first otome game and how did you find it ?

Probably one of those Shall We Date or Voltage mobile otome games. The only device I had that time was my mom's phone and I remember how I always want to borrow her phone every day because my story ticket finally restored then I'd get irritated for how short the chapter was. Good old times really.
