i definitely do if my favorite route is the one being depicted, and i'll give it a shot even if not but i still tend to prefer the games to the mangas, so i usually am not as invested in the mangas after playing and enjoying the games more

i usually stick to one at a time, otherwise i think i would get to distracted and start mixing up storylines and plot points

i didn't get mine for the purpose of playing otomes (i got it for animal crossing) but i primarily use it for otomes at this point

i prefer sprites, i don't usually self insert so i like when the heroine has her own sprites especially when she has a face.

i usually do good ending then bad bc the first ending i get tends to be the one that sticks with me the most/feels most canon for my playthrough so i save the bad endings for later

i enjoy kinetic otome (and BL) but i have to be in a specific mood to play them as they're more similar to reading a story than a game, so they don't always scratch that itch when i'm in the mood to actually play something

for BL, Luckydog1 was so funny and i honestly didn't really expect it to be going into it and then for otomes i thought Cupid Parasite was really comedic

i love the concept of an evil MC. the 'i can fix him' trope is super popular in romance as a whole and i definitely get the appeal but i've always liked the idea of 'i can make him worse' and a game with an evil MC exploring that (or allowing you to explore the LIs making the MC better) would be...

i personally enjoyed the MCs from Code: Realize, Cupid Parasite, Taisho x Alice, Club Suicide, and Bustafellows (i really enjoy her voicing). i've also heard good things about the MCs from even if TEMPEST and JackJeanne when it comes to having well developed MCs but i haven't played them yet.

they can definitely be a nice escape when things get heavy and tend to be my go-to way to spend my free time when i'm not with friends. they definitely drain my wallet though lol

i've replayed quite a few otomes, the one i've replayed most is Amnesia. it isn't my favorite but it was my first so it holds a special place in my heart and i like to revisit it

not really, i've never run into anything that was enough of a dealbreaker to skip a whole game. if i really hate a character i'll speed through their route when going through for completion but i still finish it. but in my opinion, forcing yourself through something that makes you uncomfortable...

i don't, i've tried them before but i can't really get into them. the MC either ends up with someone i don't care for or nobody at all and usually things have to be watered down or compacted to fit and so details get lost.
