  • Well, from what I have seen so far, I think the game is fairly easy once you know what the commands do. Currently, I can't see the various characters skills since the status screen always crash so other than that, you should be fine.
I tried the game for a bit, but so far I'm not exactly impressed with the gameplay. The tutorial is really really lengthy and long-winded lol. Currently, there's a bug that will crash the game whenever you try to view a specific character status screen. The map is really big so the game will take really long to finish, since you need to conquer all the territories and there's a turn limit of 999 lol. In terms of the battle gameplay, it feels kind of clunky. I'll probably proceed slowly with the game but based on what I have seen so far, the gameplay looks really repetitive. It seems like you will just do the same things over and over until you win.
Thanks for the heads up, I'm trying the game now. It seems to work fine for the time being, so will get back to you about the game probably tomorrow or the day after.
I'm actually not done downloading, lol. Seems like I'm not really getting a good seed on the torrent. Anyway, from what I read from the game's thread, it seems like you can't play the game until the nodvd patch is released. Apparently, unicorn-a games don't get released often because it often needs the serial code and the code can only be used if you have the original game. So far, the other unicorn games already got the nodvd patch so it's just that game left.
Yup, haha. I was sure it would be released soon after the release date since it looks like a popular title, but didn't expect it to take this long. I'm downloading at the moment so I'll probably get to playing it when I'm done.
Yeah, kinda reminds me of the warriors orochi series with both sengoku and sangoku merging in a game. Although, it does seems like they left out quite a number of characters from this game.
Nope, haven't play it before. Have you tried it? Is it fun? In the meantime, I'm still waiting for this game.
Haha, yeah I watched a gameplay video on youtube and I could tell it has a lot of text in it. I think the battle system is quite nice but I don't like the dungeon crawler aspect.
I like the battle system, but I don't really like dungeon crawler type of games so i'll think about it. I'm currently playng "invisible inc" which a tactics, turn based game involving spies. It's quite fun and gets rather difficult as you go on. The game is currently in alpha.
Hmm, this is what the gameplay consist of in their website. It looks like strategy/card game based?
Hey yo, have you tried this game? I have downloaded it already but I haven't try it yet so maybe you can give it a try if you are out of games to play :)
Personally, I like ff9 the most out of the entire ff series and ff7 isn't bad but too overrated in my opinion. I think my psp is my most valuable console in terms of the level of enjoyment I got out from it. It's really too bad the vita doesn't have a lot of titles I want to play, else I would have got it. I'm really waiting for a new sd gundam g generation game on either psv/ps3. The latest one was released on psp years ago and I played it for really long hours, but it's in jap. It's a tactics rpg game.
Oh nice, you bought the game or downloaded? I have a ps3 but I think there aren't enough games that I find interesting/fun to justify getting it.
Hmm, not really. I can't find any nice games to play as well, currently just playing hearthstone and the mighty quest for epic loot casually. You playing dynasty warrior 8 on what platform, pc/ps3/ps4/etc?
So....I just started martopia today and finished the 1st playthrough in a few hours lol. Since you said the game is very easy, I tried the game without grinding at all, which means I ended up being 2-5 levels below the enemies all the time lol but it's still relatively easy. I agree about the game being kinda short but at least that makes getting all characters ending easier I guess. You do carry forward skill points into your next playthrough, although the level is reset.
You are playing material brave, isn't it?
The stat at the very top, I believe is the number of cancels you can perform in each combo, iirc.
    1. HP
    2. Recovery (increases the speed character recovers from stun, increases HP recovered at the end of battle or while moving)
    3. Attack for combo, "B" BUTTON (can be called Physical attack)
    4. Attack for special ability, "A" BUTTON (can be called Magic attack)
    5. Evasion, "C" BUTTON (maybe the distance which character moves when you press Evade button)
    6. Optimism (楽観) (increases speed to fill red tension BLOCKS)

I got the above info from here > http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php/377357-GIGA-Material-Brave-Spiritual-successor-to-Duel-Saviour-Released!/page23
I forgot what some of the stats do so I had to use the link to know what they do lol.
Ow, the game is very easy? That's a bummer, does it have any optional boss after the final boss which are challenging?
Actually I haven't install rance 9 yet either lol. It just feels like it's going to be a long game to finish and that kinda dampens my motivation to get started on it.
Well, eroge that's not your standard visual novel isn't made very frequently so it's not unusual to find yourself in this position.
I've heard of the venus blood series but I have never tried it before but I believe it's quite highly rated? The gears of dragoon looks like a dungeon crawler game, which I don't really like but the rpg aspect looks decent.
I'm probably going to play this but I can't really think of any other nice games to play after this one.
