Extremely! If I particularly dislike the first or second route my motivation to play the game just takes a hard dive. Also I agree with that one person as well, common route is just as if not more important, Radiant Tale common route bored me so much I still haven't started a route to this day...

I don't mind as long as it's well written! I think Kaize's and the first half of Claude's dark route did this very well! I especially love that one Kaize dark ending! (if ykyk) but I absolutely despise what virche did with Lucas omg I will never get past that route I HATE it

I agree! Eugene was one of my least favourite alongside Heath. I think Eugene's route had a very interesting setup and I was genuinely pumped up when he cursed her but I felt like the tension from that plot point passed too quickly and they were back to their usual banter like nothing happened...

Not a fan, shit creeps me out but I'll still play the route.

Good art for sure, it could be the most well written and voiced game in the world but I still won't touch it if I dislike the art. Apart from that I really like high stakes plotlines, I just can't get into slice of life stuff lately I get bored of it quickly I need some tension lol.

Collar x Malice for sure, I really liked the characters and the whole plot overall. To this day I'm still a huge fan of all the LIs (Except maybe Mineo...He's cute but I can't handle second hand embarassment well I'm sorry) I went on an otome streak right after I finished the game lol.

Dom for sure lol, but I'm more than open to other types and it's a little tiring seeing dom guys and meek mcs all the time. Would be nice to see more assertive mcs to balance it out

Young protagonists seem to be a common trend among japanese fiction. I heard it has something to do with escapism? and an older demographic wanting to revisit their younger days? idk I heavily dislike the trope and I hate that most mcs are significantly younger than most of the LIs

I'm a tech student so my thoughts on ai has shifted ever so forward to accepting ai, generative or otherwise. But honestly ai character art and voice acting just look horrendous to me so it's still a big no. To be honest I don't really care much about ai backgrounds though in fact I think...

I'm so excited! it's one of my favorite manhwas. But honestly I really would've loved to have had the manhwa as an actual otome game
