  1. Do people like console games ported to pc?

Yesss more platforms is always a good thing imo, I don't own any consoles rn, so PC ports are often the only way I can play console games without emulation. Plus text hooking and other translation tools are much easier to use on PC, which helps a lot with translating JP otome games!
  2. What are your favorite otome game/anime openings?

Its R18 but Kuro to kin no akanai kagi's op and all of Hanayaka nari waga ichizoku's ops and eds (I used to listen to all of the uploads from Marta Ballesteros YouTube channel)
  3. Which otome game series have you played the main game of, but not its sequel(s) or fandisc(s)?

Almost every otome I've played. Sadly most english translated otomes on pc don't have their fd or sequels translated 🥲
  4. Why do you enjoy playing otome games? What draws you to the genre?

I've always loved the romance genre, and whenever I used to read manga or watch anime I used to get second male lead syndrome and wish the MC got with another charector or just ship her with the others. I enjoyed that through fanfic so when I got into otome games I was finally able to scratch...
  5. When playing otome games, do you usually stick with one game until you finish it, or do you rotate between several?

I just stick to one untill I finish it, since in the past when I switched between games I used to forget the story from where I left off, which impacted my game experience
  6. What route from a game do you think is perfect from start to finish?

For me, Peter white from heart no kuni no alice was the best, actually most routes in that game were a perfect blend of plot, romance, and charector development
  7. Weird quirks or preferences when you play otome games?

One of my weird little quirks is that I really dislike it when a character doesn't blush at all when they're hugged or kissed. If they stay completely unfazed, it just makes them come off as a playboy or someone who's done this a thousand times, and it kills the romance for me 😭 I know some...
  8. When did you start playing otome games?

    OMG that's incredibly cool! I wish my otome phase had led to something like that. I'm super jealous 😭 Otome at 13, leading to a Japan exchange, to moving there is like a dream ;_;
  9. When did you start playing otome games?

I started playing otome games in middle school. My first one was Amnesia Memories I found it after watching the anime, and then discovered it was on Steam for super cheap. It was rated PEGI 12, so I was actually able to convince my dad to buy it for me, and that's basically how I fell down the...
  10. What earphones/headphones do you use to enjoy otome drama CDs and otome games?

I was reading this thread, thinking damn, I'm still out here using my old-ass earphones, but then I saw your reply 😭I also use the random earphones I've had since high school. Good luck tho! I hope you get new headphones soon :3 also thank you to everyone for sharing their earphones/ headphones...
  11. What otome genre you most enjoy?

I'd say the otome genres I most enjoy are horror, psychological, dark, and distorted themes, because they focus on intense emotions, obsessive love, and morally complex characters, creating a gripping atmosphere where romance feels dangerous, unpredictable, and deeply immersive rather than...

  13. What do you think of western otome games?

Have you guys also noticed that with some indie otome/romance games, there just isn't much content yet, but the fandom starts creating fanart and fanfic to fill in the gap? so much so that the fandom has more content than the actual game .…it's a little sad when all that passion is centered...
  14. What do you think of western otome games?

I totally get this. I was the same way at first I was so used to Japanese/Korean voices, art styles, and storytelling that English VA and Western art just felt "off" to me. But once you find the right games, it really can change your perspective! I relate to the yandere struggle (╥﹏╥) there...
  15. What do you think of western otome games?

I agree! I think demos are a great way to discover hidden gems, support indie devs early, and get a feel for the tone, art, and writing before committing. Some demos have so much potential that they genuinely get me excited for the full release. But at the same time… it can be frustrating when...
