I'm also a big fan of submissive LIs xDddd especially the bratty ones who get put in their place by the MC lol =)) It's a pity that very few games feature this type of LI; usually, it's all alpha meow meows, and I've almost started hating anyone who dares to boss the MC around :)

I'm super low-maintenance with fiction, I can tolerate quite a lot of red flags =)) But in reality, there's no such thing as a red flag that I don't despise, more or less. Heck, I might even find green flags annoying xDd

YES!!! :) There's a huge difference between 'rivals with heavy banter' and someone who literally ruined the other person's life. If they cross that unforgivable line, forcing them into a romance just feels forced and leaving a bad taste.

On a technical level? Yes, it has improved a lot. But story-wise? Not quite, it's still flooded with generic tropes and storylines. Although occasionally, indie games do offer something fresh xDdd I'm just happy our community is getting a bit mainstream, though it's definitely still niche =))...
