  • Don't worry, I won't spoil you. And I don't have a problem with the ending of both of them, XIII-2 also has more than one ending (but only one true ending). If I wouldn't like the true ending, I can play any other ending as well, but when I saw the true ending and I heard that there's a sequel ("Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII) there was no desire to play left. Don't like the gameplay of FF that much too, cause I like real time strategy more.
Before you ask, I started with FF XIII, I never played FF before ;)
FF XIII? Played XIII until the open world part, but then never :D Preordered XIII-2 too, but I cancelled it cause I watched the ending on YT before ... there was no reason to play it after that.
Well, the boss fights aren't that hard, but there are some boss fights which aren't easy at all. For example there's a boss who can fly ... first, the attack of this boss can hit you really hard, and second, you'll get an ammo problem :D and there are some mutants who aren't bosses, but they could be annoying too. At least, if you aren't a few levels higher than the enemy. But most of the time the enemy are at the same level of you, exceptions are if you teleport with level 20 to the first region back again or something like this :D

I'm many years ago from speaking Japanese ... I have problems with French, there's no way I can learn Japanese that fast ;D
The story is something futuristic, yes. There are mutants and such things ... and some of them annoyed me really much in the first one :D

Don't know why I don't like it. I'm was looking for something new, but most of them was in Oblivion too. That's also the reason why I only played three games in this year so far. Last year I played over ten games, and this year are only two games left (FIFA 13 doesn't count, cause this one is for entertainment with friends).

Sry, but I can't Spanish. We have to decide between Spanish and French in my school and I wanted to learn Spanish, but when I reported which language I want to learn, it was already to late and there was only French left ... now I'm learning French -_-
In my opinion you can't compare Borderlands with anything else. It's a RPG and a FPS, that's nothing special about it, but it has an own graphic, which makes it enjoyable for me. You can play as one of four characters (each one with an own special skill) and each one of them has three different skill trees. A 5th characters comes via a payed addon, or you preorder it, then you get it for free. Played Borderlands (the first one) two times and it was really great. Ok, the story in the first one was somehow boring (maybe "boring" is a little bit exaggerated), but Borderlands 2 has a better story, at least the developer said so :)

And I don't like Skyrim that much. To be true, I never played TES until the release of Skyrim. Then I downloaded Skyrim and Oblivion ... I had much more fun with Oblivion and deleted Skyrim after a few days.
Finished Prima Stella a week ago and now I'm playing Miyabi's afterstory in PriSara (I'm at the scene at the beach right now). She's just awesome, love her :) Have to play it until next week, because then I get Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2 and FIFA 13 ... goodbye RL :laughpanda:
Haha, that's no problem. School started for me again, so there's only a few hours a week for me to play anyway. Also I have to wait for the translation and I don't think they will complete it before November/December.

Btw, completed Tomoe's route in Prima Stella already and now I'm on Miyabi's route (chapter 7 I think) ... there's not much left :D
Haha, about Miyabi, looks like you have to play right after the release and then everyone is yours ;D

I'm playing nearly every game without NoCD-crack. It's more work to mount the game everytime, yes, but I told you before that I only can play one game at a time, so it's not that of a big problem for me.
Don't know about the notifications, but I tried it on two other notebooks (all three from Acer). It worked fine on one of them, but on the other was a installation problem at first (which I solved) but I can't get the Activation to work. I open the Activation, see the screen and when I open the game too, the window doesn't even change (like in the video). Doesn't matter if I try it as administrator or not.

Ok, thx for the info. I'm near the end of the common route (yeah, only there) and I love Yuu :D I'll complete Tomoe's route first and then Shizuka's or Miyabi's, don't know it yet which one first.
Do you know if there's something else in Pri Sara in connection with Prima Stella, except the afterstory of Miyabi and the harem route? Like a Yuu route :D
The problem about starting as administrator is, when I start the Activation.exe without administrator it doesn't even change the window when starting the game. It only shows me the same window as at the start of the Activation.

And yeah, maybe I'll wait for another uploads as well. If you found something that works for you, please tell me :)
Tried it, but still the same problem. It's the same problem as in the video, only without the update. Installed it, run Activation and then the game ... but there's the problem already. The Activation shows the right window (like in the video), but nothing happens to the Alpha Activation screen of the game. In the end I end up at the Activation screen over and over again.

To Moeshouden: I have a "alsignup_act_100723.exe" and a "alsignup_act_100625.exe". Everytime I want to use the 100723.exe I get the error "AlphaDiscLog.txt (then some japanese)". When I start the game I get the error "[1503] (then some japanese)".
Thx for the help, I'll try it out later and give you feedback. Now I have a few RL problems. That's just shitty if you compare it with some VN. There I would make a decision like "Don't care about it." and the problem is solved -_-

And you completely right, the MC in SD is just an asshole. I mean, first he's totally isolated and then he fucks the whole school. The anime had the best ending in my opinion, there he got what he deserved. And my favourite female chara doesn't even have a own route, that's also very sad.
Think School Days HQ is so large cause it's fully animated. I didn't like it that much. You could think you watch an anime with subs and have to make decisions, that's all. The second reason is that there's at least one character who's frustrated at the end ... I wonder how they all can love Makoto (the world is just unfair!).

I think the most of my VN are from BaseSon. But I can't install Appare! Tenka Gomen and Shin Koihime Musou -Moeshouden-. The NoActivation.exe from here doesn't work for me (and nobody knows why) and I don't know how to install Moeshouden. Really would like to play one of them, but yeah, you know, the time.

Here is a video with the problem from Appare! Tenka Gomen ... maybe you know the reason :D
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSX-bw3mfm0
The drug route is the one with the blond hair ... the gray haired girl has the best route in my opinion. The drug route is just "crazy" and the purple haired girl is just addicted to sex, but that's all.

I haven't really paid attention to the release date of the games, cause I played only english ones and now I've played over 30 translated VN. The biggest one was School Days HQ with nearly 11 gb, but I haven't played it that much. The others only have 1-6 gb. I only installed about five on my laptop, cause after I completed one, I remove it on my external hard drive.

And F/SN is also my only one Type-Moon game. Maybe I'll play F/HA when the translation is done. And from Nitro+ I've played Chaos;Head, Kikokugai and Zanmataisei Demonbane. Don't look at the developers that much ... the main thing is that the game is good :)
Ahahaha, yeah, Yume Miru Kusuri has something to do with drugs ... but only one route, and this one was the worst of them :D

And yeah, I live in Austria, now you know that to ;)

I've played some VN like Natsu Yume Nagisa a few times already. Cross Channel was one of them ... but you know my opinion of that one already :D Ama Ane, Hoshizora no Memoria and Fate/Stay Night are like that too if I remember correctly. That's also a reason why I play with a complete save game :D
My 1st VN was Yume Miru Kusuri and that was a year ago ... I'm still a newbie in comparison with someone like you :)

And could it be that you're jealous? :D Don't worry, maybe I'll begin with Shizuka's route ... I don't want to be killed by you :bloodthirsty:

I only clear the routes of the heroine which I like. But sometimes there's a deep story behind the whole thing, that could be a reason for clearing a route of a heroine I don't like that much :)
Man, Verita looks damn interesting -_- When did you play your 1st VN? Cause I can't imagine to play all of them which you only recommended me in the next years. And I think this are only some of them which you already played :D
Also I think it's not that depressive, and there's a harem ending too.

Btw, I reached Chapter 4 in Prima Stella :happytears: ... however, that's still the common route :donefor:
Three pages? Mine only has about 10 titles and there's no way that I can finish them all :D

And I played Kamidori Alchemy Meister from Eushully a little bit, but I didn't like it that much. It was to extensive and although I used a guide it was just to "complicated" ... I'm not the fan of such big (S)RPG's. Utawarerumono for example was very good, cause it wasn't that complicated. I looked at Daibanchou -Big Bang Age-, but when I saw the walkthrough for this one, I deleted it from my list. I mean, you could think this is a guide for something like Final Fantasy :D Eien no Aselia -The Spirit of Eternity Sword- looks interesting as well, but there's only a 0+ version in English, but I want to play the 18+ version, and if possible in English -_- Really hope the next official releases from MangaGamer and JAST of (S)RPG's are 18+.

I really would like to play an (S)RPG, but they all have such a long and complicated guide, for which alone I need over a few hours to understand :D
Play with a walkthrough :) I'm using one for every VN I play. I download one before starting the game for the first time :D

And thx for the recommendation, but right now there's to little time to play. I'm still at Chapter 3 of Prima Stella -_- And no, I can't play two different VN at the same time, cause I really easy forget things if I play new games in the meantime.

A friend of mine told me I should try out Shojo to Maou to Tactics. Do you know this one?
I don't think that I'll play Sara Sara in the near future, cause I hardly have time for Prima Stella in the last days and on 3rd September starts the school again ... the last year in this school :swearveng: But Pri Sara is definitely one of my next ones ... the harem route and the Miyabi after story is reason enough for the download :D

And yeah, in Kajitsu are bad endings as well, but there's only one heroine who can die in Kajitsu if I remember correctly. That means, only one bad endings contains one heroine getting killed ... in any other bad ending there's no one dying :) And Meikyuu only consists of the after stories (I think that means no critical decisions) and a past route with an ending that leads to the beginning of the 3rd installment which is released later. Don't know whether there are decisions or not in the past route, didn't read the review about this route that much :) In short, I think that means that in the 3rd installment everyone should be alive ... except the ending of the past route which leads to it concludes something like a nuclear bomb which killed everyone :lmao: I really don't know that, maybe it's true, but I hope it's not :scared:
hm, you mean Sachi and Yumiko (in Grisaia). I didn't like Sachi (the maid) and Michiru (the fake tsundere) in the english trial, but the trial was very short too, therefore there's a high possibility that I change my opinion. And there's also a good ending for each character, so there's nothing to fear. My favourite chara out of them is Amane, followed by Yumiko and then Makina ... think this will be the order I'll play it :D Amane's route was/is also the first route which got a translation (translation is done, only editing remaining). Hope they will release the patch after editing asap, then I don't have to wait so long :)

I'm only near the end of chapter 3 in Prima Stella, cause I didn't have much time to play in the last few days. And Kusumi (the student council president) is just irritating, I'll only play her route if I don't have anything else to do :D
Haha, looked for a review of Meikyuu too and found out that it's only something like the fandisc of Sharin no Kuni ... afterstories and a past route :D
Really hope that Rakuen isn't depressive, if yes, that could be a reason for me to hate the whole series.
Now that I somehow know the endings of Kajitsu and the fact that Meikyuu has afterstories ... can't wait for the translation -____-

And sry if I spoiled you and for the spamming too :)
Thx for adding and for the brofist too :) G-Senjou was the 2nd vn I've played and the best one too, it was just awesome ... but there's no sequel -_-

hope you are playing Grisaia already ... looked for a review just now and Kajitsu has good endings as well :D now I'm waiting for your opinion of Meikyuu. I'm playing still Prima Stella, and yeah, how should I say, but I think Miyabi is mine now :P
