I don't like bad endings, and I really don't like the trend in media (not in otome in particular, an overall trend in eastern and western media imo) in the last decades to give sad/bad endings because it's more ~realistic~ and ~mature~. It just feels like a bad writer's way out, when they write...
I really dislike gacha, i prefer to buy a full game upfront than play a "free" game that you have to pay to unlock everything or to get full enjoyment.
PC is just better than consoles, it has less portability but can play anything old or new, with texthooker to translate. Also some consoles are stricter when it comes to 18+ content, and if done without care, the story can be lost in porting to console (like Chou no Doku).
Nah, my playing order doesn't influence me on picking my favorite LI. If routes have to be unlocked I do the ones I will even do the least liked first and leave my favorites for last.
The MC must be entertaining or at least bearable, and if the MC is a complete blank slate the plot must be interesting. I don't care about VAs, and the art/sprites and OST are just a plus. The same as a book really.
I just clear my favorite's routes, and fast foward the others needed to unlock the true end (if there is one). I used to 100% but now i prefer to jump to the next one.
