What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve done for a fictional man?

I feel like we've all done at least ONE questionable thing for a fictional man that we'd never admit to someone who doesn't play otome games.

Whether it's spending an unreasonable amount of money on merch, replaying the same scene 20 times just to hear his voice, getting genuinely jealous over a fictional character, or staying up until 4 AM because you couldn't stop playing his route.

So what's your most embarrassing or unhinged otome moment?

I made a little shrine for them as a little tween. I had an empty space in my dresser which was wide enough for some area to place things in (perfect shrine size), when my mother found it, she placed all the merch and art I had of it to another side of my room.

Actually I don't think this is embarrassing but I did buy art print of fictional character and hid inside my box because embarrassed during that time my mom or sister would see on my shelf ask who is that

I got this keychain of a guy shirtless pants unzipped and tied up in red rope(shibari i think?) and uhhhh.... its attached to my housekeys since I can't hang it on my bag. Well, whenever I have to unlock the door after a trip with family, its like a fuck gotta be fast and hope they don't see it
besides that, it'd probably be having a shrine and making my entire phone home screen and wallpaper dedicated to my fave LI. Like all my app icons are just different art of him lmao.

I'm not as embarrassed now, but I bought a life size body pillow with him on it. It was so expensive too, I wasted my first ever paycheck on that thing. In the end, I think it was worth it. I still have it rotting in my closet to this very day. He's now a lost relic from my cringy and questionable past lol

I don't think it's awkward, I think it's worth it! Go buy everything about the male protagonist you like. I have a dedicated display cabinet filled with my favorite game merchandise. I feel very happy and satisfied. The game plot left a deep impression on me, and I will repeat it dozens of times without getting bored, just for the people I like.

Honestly, there's something kind of sweet about finally having your own money and immediately buying something you really wanted, even if you look back and cringe a little now haha. The "I think it was worth it" followed by "rotting in my closet" made me laugh LOL!

I don't know much about editing so I simply pasted my face next to my fave and put a silly frame on it with heart stickers, printed it and put it on the back of my id (like I pasted it on my I'd itself) . I didn't regret it until the need to present at least 2-3 ids when I need to get some papers from the city hall.. I saw the elderly woman checking my id, she's trying her best not to laugh..

I still have my Favorite Fictional Guy shrine! I've gotten so much merch of him over the years that I'm thinking of relocating it.

I do remember seeing someone sell a keychain of him in that earbuds wrap bondage style that I didn't buy, but now I regret not getting it. I've also seen dakis for sale of him, but the pillows themselves are so expensive that I haven't bothered lol.

My type is always black hair guy with mole next to his mouth. I get so hyper for that type of guy anytime when I find that type of guy. During high school, I was like "I love this guy, his mole make me want to kiss him!" saying to my friends and its embarrassing when I think about it. I don't spend money but I was sticking to his face during my high school. Somehow, my boyfriend have same features which I find it out after dating.
