what type are you? are you loyal to one li, have one main li with others as extras, or have many husbands at once?

i am the type who focuses on one li but has others as extras. i still like other lis, but my main li is still my best choice.

i have seen many people on social media who have more than one li and even make their own harem. but for me, i think it is better to focus on one main li and have others as extras. i would feel overwhelmed if i had too many lis to focus on.

I have different favorites in different games. Sometimes I don't have a favorite at all, sometimes just one, and sometimes two; still, I play through and enjoy the other LIs in the game—just not quite as much as my favorites.

One or two.

While the first LI is usually the one that hooks me into playing (most of the time it's the cover boy), the second is my favorite when playing the game. I don't think I have energy to make harem lol plus there's always one LI that... his route (or his personality) isn't my cup of tea.

I like only one fave LI in each game, or sometimes none at all because none of them really catch my attention tbh but i still enjoy the game.

for me 1 or 2 LI, usually not every LI is my type to begin with, but i still enjoy the story in their route

i think i tend to like one or two character on each game, but still have one who absolutely is my main pick as my favorite LI

Usually, when I start an otome game, I only have one or two specific LIs in mind—they're the very reason I downloaded the game in the first place.

Once I finish their routes, I move on to explore the others. If the storyline and the characters' personalities happen to click with me while playing those remaining routes, I end up gaining even more LIs 😂.

One or two LIs! i don't tend to like many, to be true... if i play an otome, it has to be because i fell for one of them at least! If none catch my eye, then i don't play it.

There can be more than one character I like in a game. There probably will be someone who's route I liked the most, but it doesn't have to be only one person. I don't see them as people, I see them as stories.

When I was younger I felt strange reading everyone's routes after the first one, but now I understand that it's not a real life, so why not enjoy everything it has.

They usually have their own routes, so you can focus on them there. If you are not talking about gacha; in gacha it's better for wallet to have only one favourite

For me it really varies depending on the game. In most games I have 1-2 favorites, but there is one game where I nearly liked all 5 LIs 🙈 The current game I'm playing right now has 2 LIs that I like already from one route, but maybe I like more as I complete the game

At first, I might be interested in all or most of them (very rarely just one), but by the end, I always create a personal ranking based on who I liked the most and least, their behavior, how they treated me, their character development and evolution, the feelings I experienced while playing, the impact of their route, and so on. The one who ticks almost all the boxes becomes my favorite; consequently, if I were to remain faithful to a single love interest by the end of the story, he would be the one I'd choose.
If I recall correctly, there has never been a game where I liked two or more characters equally (at the end of the game); there is always one who—whether by a wide margin or a narrow one—surpasses the runner-up.

I relate to that! I'll pick up a game for 1~2 LIs that caught my eye (or have a trope I enjoy a lot!), but as I play everyone's routes the remaining characters may surprise me lol

As long as the route is well written and the LIs are interesting, all types of characters will end up in my favorites ;b though I'm a bit biased towards character design as well, if he's hot enough, haha

I should have a similar viewpoint as the author. In a game, I like to play a line and focus on one male lead. After playing this line, I can then focus on another male lead. In every game, there is my favorite male lead, and other male leads are extra needed, but I also really like them. When I play this game, I focus on one line and one male lead.

When playing otome games I tend to observe a bit and when I find I like someone I fully fixate on them and only them.

An example would be when playing Love and Deepspace I choose Zayne and I would only pull his memories, only buy his items and only level up and upgrade his memories. All other LI's practically just stop existing for me even tho I like them too, but they're not "him" lol

I'm definitely loyal to one LI, and that's my husband Mitsuki Izumi 🧡😂 (my profile picture says it all LMAOOO). He is and always will be my number one, my heart and soul belong to him!! Of course, I have plenty of other favorites across anime, manga, and games, and I LOVE fangirling over them too, but no one could ever take Mitsuki's place. That's my man forever HAHAHA 😭🧡

I also start playing games because I'm interested in one or two specific LIs.
In the process, I end up with more favorites.
