[CV Spotlight / R-18 Otome Audio] Which Voice Actor surprised you the most, and what's their absolute best "spicy" performance?

Honestly, I've been a massive fan of classics like Mitsuhashi Wataru, Ichijou Hirame, Yagami Sen, and Hatsuji Cherry for a while, but the voice actor who completely caught me off guard recently is Himesaki Haruka (姫咲遙).

His performance in [RJ392376] Mirage～ユニコーン/彼は貴方を独占シタイ～ completely blew me away and has been on constant repeat for me!
What surprised me the most was his insane emotional range and how seamlessly he flips the switch. One second his voice is impossibly sweet, soft, and doting—making you feel totally cherished—and the next, this razor-sharp, possessive *yandere* edge bleeds through. The way he balances genuine affection with that underlying dark, suffocating obsession is incredible. It doesn't feel exaggerated; the quiet intensity in his whispering makes the possessiveness feel so real. The breath work and close-mic binaural positioning during his character's shift in tone give me genuine chills every single time.

If you haven't checked out [RJ392376] yet and love a good mix of sweet-talk masking an intensely possessive nature, you definitely need to give it a listen!

I was especially chills when he revealed his true identity to the heroine. The way he switches back and forth between that unsettling, ominous voice and the sweet voice he had been using up until then was SO good. It gave me genuine goosebumps.

Most of the seiyuu in R18 otome drama cd always amaze me, but the one who caught me completely off guard was probably Noriyuki (紀之) in Sono Ai wa Yamai ni Itaru ~KANOE~.

Having my childhood favorite seiyuu voice an R18 drama CD was never on my wishlist. But damn, he is good at it! lol I recognized his voice immediately and wondered at first if the drama CD was for all ages. But NO, IT'S R18 with all tags I love the most lmao

I have not known this seiyuu before and I don´t have his audio either. I will try listening to this voice actor's audio content in the future if I get hold of his works.

I only found out about this series because I love Miraku Akira (三楽 章) and I obsessed with his voice. Aside from him, Sawa Manaka (佐和 真中) also voices a character in this series. I thought that was the end of it, but it's really interesting to see Noriyuki voiced here too lol

I don't know if Noriyuki has voiced in other drama CDs, as I've only found him in this one so far!
