For otome CD, do you have a favorite circle that you're always waiting for the new release?

There are tons of otome CD circles on DLsite, but are there any circles you like so much that you're always waiting for their next release, or even checking X for announcements?

Also, what makes you decide whether you like a circle or not? For me, I think it mostly comes down to the overall vibe they go for and the quality of the SE. Especially if I've enjoyed their last 2-3 releases in a row, they become a circle I'll pretty much listen to anything from.

I've mostly been listening to doujin stuff lately, and personally I really like Parasite Garden when it comes to fresh/interesting story ideas! For the ecchi side of things, I think Green Eyes Monster is really good too lol

Mine are Dusk and Notte. The way they write their stories (or the tags, lol) usually suits my taste, mostly because I follow the artists on Pixiv too (who always post the drama cd covers they drew to promote it).

Sometimes I check Hitsujigumo and Kzentertainment. If there is something crazy or immoral, you can always count on Kzentertainment, lol I always turn off my brain when listen to any of them.

No way!! A Notte fan??? 😭😭 I'm so happy to meet another one!! The other circles you mentioned are all really good too, but I LOVE Note hahaha. They do amazing work on submissive man lol
Feels like somehow every seiyuu gives a great performance when they're working with Notte lol. Maybe their directing is just that good?

Notte fan here! lmao

The artists I follow on Pixiv drew Notte drama CD covers, so that's basically how I discovered them. Notte is definitely an expert at creating submissive men, aren't they? I LOVE IT lol. If I remember correctly, their upcoming drama CD releasing in early September should be volume 2 of Handsome Detective!

I have quite a few circles that I'm always keeping an eye on: 死ぬまで一生愛されてると思ってた (Shinu Made Isshou Aisareteru to Omotteta), がるまにオリジナル(乙女) (Garumani Original [Otome]), Chupa, BEDROOM, and Bella.

What I really like about these circles is how bold and unapologetic their writing is. Their stories tend to have a lot of flavor, with unusual character concepts and scenarios that feel different from the usual otome CD formula. Even when the premise is completely wild, they manage to make it entertaining and surprisingly immersive.

I also really appreciate when a circle puts effort into the overall production quality. Good voice acting is obviously important, but the sound design, SE, mixing, and recording quality can make a huge difference for me. When everything comes together, it becomes something I can just sit back and listen to without getting distracted by technical issues.

I also tend to become a loyal listener once a circle consistently delivers. If I enjoy several releases from the same circle in a row, I'll probably check out their new releases just because I trust their taste and know there's a good chance I'll enjoy whatever they come up with next.

Basically, for me it's a combination of strong and unconventional writing, memorable characters, an engaging story, and really good audio production. If a circle can nail all of those things, I'm absolutely going to be stalking their X for the next announcement.
