Otome Recommendation megathread

Can anyone recommend me something like Demonheart/Demonheart Cursed Trials? I know they are not "classic" otomes, but man, I'd kill for more ROs like Sir Brash and Kaisar (especially if you can trash talk them back). Bonus points if they are kinda unconventionall looking too.

I'm looking for otome games with a heroine who is tsundere or initially cold, aloof, towards the LIs. I really enjoy that kind of dynamic, especially when it leads to funny, awkward, or interesting interactions between them! 🥹

I'm also a big fan of enemies to lovers, so I'd definitely love recommendations with that kind of dynamic too!

Variable Barricade, Cinderella Phenomenon, Norn9 (Mikoto) are probably the closest examples of what I'm looking for. ♡
My first thought was Variable Barricade and then I read below and you do mention it lol! I really liked Hibari as an MC, her tsundere-ness is part of what makes her adorable. Now for recommendations, it's hard to think of other heroines that are like that, perhaps Even if Tempest? The heroine isn't tsundere-like, she's more aloof and guarded before eventually opening up to the LIs. For enemies to lovers dynamic, Birushana has one route that has this but I cannot say if it would be completely your cup of tea since it's only one route.

Looking for: a otome that has extreme/dark/horror/ or surreal themes, (or pretty much anything that could be considered "dead dove do not eat") preferably in Japanese.
I am a fan of Homiecipher and have played the DiaLover series.

If the otome has made you go "what the f*ck" or has left you in an existential crisis, please share 🙏

Have you tried Black Wolves Saga: Bloody Nightmare? I think it's a must play if you're after such themes in my humble opinion. Fiona (aka the local protag) reminds me of Yui from Dialovers as well, I think they have a lot in common. Both are poor girls thrown into things that are simply out of their control, but they still try their best. Though artstyle in BWS might look off, though I think it has it's charm. Animations in BWS are also like a cherry on top. Some of the bad endings left me in "Lol what the hell was that" in a good way. But I'm not gonna spoil which :>

Seconding this! BWS was the first that came to mind, and not only the bad endings...there was also that one good end. 😭

Definitely looking into this one, apparently there's gonna be a series release on switch soon. I've enjoyed pretty much everything from reject I've seen so far, thanks for the recommendation!
