Looking for Otome Game Recommendation!

Hi-hi everyone! I'm new on this forum, and after lurking here it seems like i'm still a beginner on the otome agenda even though i have played otome game since 6 years ago! (though i only know the popular ones...) T_T please give some recommended otome game that you would suggest me to try.

I've tried Tears of Themis, Love and Deepspace, Mystic Messenger, Obey me, The Arcana, Dangerous Fellows, and Ikemen Vampires.

p.s. also sorry if there's anything weird that I said, english is not my first languange zzz

It seems like you play a lot of mobile games so maybe you might like Light & Night? It's a Chinese gacha otome game like Tears of Themis or Love & Deepspace. It has a Southeast Asian server that launched just a couple months ago so you don't have to worry about 'catching up' or feeling like you missed too much. It also offers 4 different languages for the text (the original Simplified Chinese as well as English, Thai, and Vietnamese translations) so depending on what languages you know maybe one of those options would be easier for you (also your English is totally fine, no need to apologize ^w^ ).

OK^^ I don't play mobile games, so I don't know much about them, but I can recommend a few PC games. I'm sure you've heard of them, but their popularity stems from their quality, so I think they're worth a shot!

First, Amnesia: Memories. I've never seen anyone dislike this game. It's one of my all-time favorites and one of the first otome games I ever played, so I'd say it's very beginner-friendly (even though you're not new to the genre lol).

Secondly, if you prefer more drama, angst, and character variety, there's Nightshade, which is another favorite of mine.

Lastly, if you prefer the visual novel aspect more—with fewer choices and a plot that heavily focuses on a main canon love interest—there's Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk. Even though it's an otome, it has fewer choices and uses a unique map system.

You can find all of these on Steam. Since I'm also new here, I'm not sure if the PC versions are available here, sorry >.<

Hello! Since you play on phone and can also play on PC, I recommend Our Life: Beginnings & Always. It's available on itch.io for free and has an android port! There's only one love interest and you grow up alongside him, it's like a slowburn and you get to watch your relationship with him develop over the years (or remain platonic!) You can customize your MC and set your interest and comfort level towards him. If that sounds interesting to you, give it a try!

And if you do like the chatting aspect of Mysme, I recommend Blooming Panic, it's also available on itch.io for free although only on PC and Mac. It's a discord-like game and you get to chat and do calls with the LIs. If you're interested in more PC otome games, there's also more on steam platform! Lemme know and I can drop a few recs! Not sure if you've heard yet but there's an upcoming game releasing on steam about Lucifer, game is called Obey Me! Sinner's Choice: Lucifer

I'm not much of a mobile player, so I don't know much about those, but I have a few rec on PC
On itch.io specifically:
Ebon Light - free vn, with customizable MC. The CG art is a bit rough, but the story is nice, and it has plenty of choices during the narrative. You play as a human girl who unknowingly consumes an ancient elven relics and ends up tangled in elven messes as a result.
Synokoria's Holiday Otome series - a series of slice-of-life otome, each following the stories of a different MC, really cute stories and I liked having the cameos of the other MCs in the different stories, since they are friends
Someone mentioned Blooming Panic, and I absolutely second that. And also, if you like chatsim-like games, I'd also add Assignment Due: Project Blue and Emberfate:Tempest of Elements to the list
If you like romantasy, you might want to check out Evernight by Frozen starts. Steamberry Studio also has some nice fantasy and sci-fi games

Since you mentioned you only play on PC and mobile—and I don't know many PC games because I don't own one—I'll stick to mobile recommendations. If you haven't tried them yet, give Cybird's other games a shot, like Ikemen Prince, Sengoku and Villains (though I've only played one route in Villains, so I can't say if it's quite as good as the others, but the rest are definitely solid!). Another one worth trying is Lovebrush Chronicles; after Mystic Messenger, it's my favorite mobile title. It features four love interests and dedicated routes for the guys—and you can even get bad endings! If you prefer something more mature, you might like Love Unholyc, it's similar to Mystic Messenger in that you have to participate in chats at specific times rather than relying on tickets. However, getting the good endings is pretty tricky—at least when I tried playing, I couldn't complete a single good ending; I got frustrated and dropped it lol. If you want something sillier, there's My Horse Prince and Hatoful Boyfriend, they lean more towards comedy or parody than straight-up romance, but they're fun! There's also Magical Paws, it's really cute and short, but fun too! Oh, and Hakuoki and Amnesia: Memories are available on mobile as well; if you search around, you can download them for free online lol. I'm not sure if it's still available for download anywhere, but Liar! Uncover the Truth is a good game too!

Finally, if you don't mind using emulators on your phone, you could try Sweet Fuse (available for the PSP emulator). And here's one that isn't strictly an otome game but features romance along the journey: Persona 3 Portable! There's also Hakuoki for PSP, so if you want, you can play it on an emulator instead of mobile (though I actually think the mobile version is better because it has extra content not found in the PSP or even the Nintendo Switch versions haha). There's also the Nintendo DS emulator; on that one, you can play games like LoveRevo, Vampire Knight, Prince of Tennis, and the Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side series (in my opinion, those are the best games for that emulator, and I highly recommend them!)
