I don't know how to hook people on to the novel without being spoilery since it's a slow burn novel but very good looking male leads tho!

Tbh, I think it's a pretty boring slice-of-life BL with gorgeous art, but yeah, the handsome LIs were enough to get me to play it lol

I highly recommend Lamento: Beyond the Void if you're looking for a darker and more emotional BL visual novel. It's an older title by Nitro+CHiRAL

Here are some of my favorite titles:
  • Angel's Feather Series: available on PC and PS2 platform. Gorgeous arts/CGs. Numerous character routes and endings. Contains PRG elements.
  • Kintouka (きんとうか): available on PC only. A balance between beautiful arts/CGs and memorable story. A mixture of mysterious and heartwarming/touching atmosphere. But the story could be very very long.
  • Taisho Mebiusline: avaiable on PC, swtich, PSPPSV. A historical supernatural main story. (CGs/sound may contain some horror elements) Adequate length for each route and the main route is especially beautiful. Stunning music btw!
  • Gakuen Heaven Series: avaiable on PC, PSPPSV, PS2. Cozy, relaxing, daily highschool-life themed story with varieties of character routes.
  • Voice Love on Air: available on steam with English localization. Lighthearted daily plot with radio recording simulation elements.

I second Beyond Eden (and it's fandisk) recommendation! It's a korean indie bl with partial, but amazing, voice acting, great writing and one of the most delicious and confident protagonists I've ever encountered. Promoting that game is my life purpose now, it's just that good.

depending on your taste, i personally really love these games! theyre pretty dark but they also have cds with them so it balances out haha!

hanamachi monogatari, hanakage, ooe, togainu no chi, slow damage, paradise, hashihime of the old book town, room no.9, uultra c!

i found two blvns that have my favorite voice actors in them, so i usually look for those but mostly i explore by myself

I'm with you on 4 out of 5. Friendly Lab is on my list to play, and I'm patiently waiting for a localization for both Lesson and Ooe. Patient S Remedy is ridiculous, but surprisingly enjoyable.

But I don't really think Ayaka Akashiya Ayakashino is a bl. Primarily a male cast, but no romance at all from what I remember. Friendship stuff - brotome, maybe?

There's a new game called "Godly Love" that's still in development; I'm not sure exactly when they'll officially release it, but I saw on Twitter that they just released a short animation.

I've seen this short animation before; they're looking for voice actors for each of the characters.
