Read the rules, but my reading comprehension is about as good as a goldfish's.

Not talking about linking to it, just saying "oh, this is available on (x)". Obviously a trusted source that I've used ... Some forums allow this and others don't, so I'm just making sure

Yes, you are welcome to mention other blogs, forums, paid websites, membership sites, etc., but it must be done in good faith and be relevant. For example, in the MMD forum, we have countless members posting links to paid membership sites and asking if anyone has the goods. That's perfectly fine. Mention will also include: links, image, logo, screenshot.

In many cases, even an advertisement, if done in good faith is exempt from this rule. Artist most often advertise their product, commission, games, along with a demo or a portfolio of free samples. Unless it contain malware.

It's actually very obvious if you're doing this in bad faith. For example, buying viagra product here, escort girl over there
