I told the moderator there's nothing wrong with the game that there's no application in the file, not as the one who said there was.But I still can't edit anything and I can't see the link myself.

i actually just spent the last few days getting my computer cleaned after clicking the "application" in the folder, but sure

I can also confirm that when I downloaded the file (it was soon after it was uploaded) it was a simple html file with some folders with it named audio and images like RenaLin's screenshot (as expected from an if made in twine); I wonder why for lilycadence it downloaded that weird application, especially when the game was never made in renpy (sorry that happened to you by the way! Virus and similiar things always suck)

i downloaded the game from that thread on 6/21/2026 (a day after it was uploaded) but only ran it on the 26th.. i'm wondering if the link or files were changed at some point because i don't understand how our files are so different. i even ran virustotal on the link after the whole thing to doublecheck, if that matters. i honestly don't know why it didn't cross my mind that the game might not be a renpy game before i clicked it. the only interactive fiction game i've played before this was paper masks and it didn't look like you guys' files, if i remember correctly

I'm not sure, but you could've maybe clicked on a malicious ad/pop-up that posed as the download link? It's unfortunately a common thing that happens, on the bottom of the download page on buzzheavier there's also a warning that all downloads happen in that window.

i have adblocker though so i never see ads on buzzheavier, it seems like i really am the only person experiencing this :(

Would it not be possible for someone to reupload this for you? I don't want to get anyone in trouble just a suggestion if it's worked fine for others. As I initially deleted the file after seeing the issues you had. However, upon restoring this, it's the same as the other just the HTML file and other folders.

yeah, that would be great. i still don't know what happened, but i'll just leave it at that. i'm sorry for all the trouble and i apologize to the uploader for being accusatory.
