Otome Recommendation megathread

Even if tempest simply because its so peak, unless the beginner herself isnt seeking a dark story, then maybe I'd also suggest Jack Jeanne
 
I'd recommend Code: Realize for beginners. The pacing feels just right, and the main problems are solved in a way that makes you somehow satisfied. It's a perfect entry point for beginners because it offers a little bit of everything—romance, action, mystery, and character growth.
 
But if you want a dark fantasy otome that focuses heavily on emotions, I'd recommend Virche Evermore. It's one of those games that really made me feel for the characters and their struggles. It left a lasting impression on me in a way that very few otome games have.
 
I recommend all of "禁飼育" works to anyone who likes morbid characters.
 
I'm gonna suggest two of my favourite otomes of all time that are basically linked to each others ( they took place in the same universe ) bustafellow and sidekick beyond ! If ur into mystery and police-type of games stories then that's definitely for you !! ( sidekick beyond is sadly still not localised and only in japanese but if yk Japanese go for it cuz both are different but share the same themes !!)
 
Looking for recs with LIs that use "watashi".
I liked Asagi from Lover Pretend and Shelby Cupid Parasite. Need more watashi guys. Don't have to be all prim and proper or posh like these 2 lol. But if you know, you know.
Dunno, they have this air to them.

i'm trying to play more otomes that are light hearted rom com types cause I learned darker games really are not my thing, anybody have any recommendations? preferably in english.

this is not a recommendation request per se, but i feel like its still too broad of a question to create a separate thread for it, so i hope its okay to post it here!

what im looking for, or rather what im curious about, is: what are examples of moege in otome?
to put it simply, moege (comes from "moe" and "game") is a game thats designed to make you, the player, feel all good and fluffy inside. theres no strong plot, close to no drama (and if there is any drama, it gets resolved quickly and doesnt linger for too long), and its mostly centered around characters, them being in cute/comedic situations, character interactions, and romance. so, its like slice of life games, but with even more emphasis on cuteness. the slice of life part is basically neverending. yuzusoft titles for example are universally considered to be moege. i also see people mention making * lovers, fureraba and aokana

so, is there anything of the sort among otome?:D

There are many everyday-life moe games aimed at men, but I think there are very few otome games like that.

As for manufacturers, Konami and Honeybee come to mind.
Konami's Tokimeki Memorial series has a lot of simulation elements, and Honeybee's games are a little different from typical moe games, though.
I haven't played it myself, but "Yunohana Spring" might be one of them.

For R18 games(couse YUZU SOFT is R18), light and character games like Tiaramode and Asring's games come to mind.

Dramatic stories are good, but I want more everyday-life otome games.

Girls might prefer dramatic stories over moe-moe ones.

Tiaramode is peaceful unless you install the additional hard mode disc.
There are class divisions like butlers, brothers, and royals, but the issues never become heavy, and the story progresses in a light and enjoyable way.
