For instance, I have finished the common route for Whirlpool's final project, Relirium, but the writing and story are quite lacking. I'm not sure if the true ending is any better, but the plot lacks depth.

I did play Clannad, and that was the only time I tried an AA game, but I didn't enjoy it at all, so I don't plan on touching any of Key's games again.

Triple Pairing, similar to Happy Weekend, is refreshing.

When I was about to start my eroge journey, Whirlpool appeared, it has been around 20 years since then. Whirlpool holds a special place in my heart. I remember picking up a game shipped from Japan while I were on the way to my Japanese class.

The Japanese teacher, a cool guy, caught a glimpse of it. the game was Justy x Nasty. He finally understood why I was so unusually motivated and progressing extremely well in the class. Relirium world is connected to Justy x Nasty as well, the lore book mentioned it.

I guess Whirlpool staff probably wanted to retire.

I also love kinetic or single heroine game. They are bite size. Honory mention will be given to CloverGame (their specialty), WillPlus's subsidaries company, and Azarashisoft plus or one plus I can't remember.

But you can say I always look forward to Azarashisoft.

 

I'm also playing Clovergame's Futureless Butterfly. I've just started and I'm thinking I should finish all the other single-heroine games from Clovergame. It's very interesting. Additionally, I forgot to mention that the seiyuu for Relirium is excellent, that's what saved the game for me. The BGM is quite well done.

Strangely, I never feel burnt out with simple romantic story like these, although sometimes I long for some "isekai" story like Wagahime, that was legendary.

To be honest, after about 1,000 hours, I had already learned the basic vocabulary, including kanji, before I even took the class. While I still cannot write it properly, I can at least read, recognize common words, understand grammar structures, and, most importantly, the style of literacy.

kinda same! unfortunately im not knowledgeable enough about actual kanji (i only know elementary school level ones), and im not diligent enough to actually start learning, but id say im okay with listening! as in, i can mostly understand what is being said. and i do understand how to build actual sentences and such. i learned kana back in middle school, so that also helped (and helps to this day):D even now, i still sometimes learn new words from japanese vns, including kanji. i cannot remember them, but i can like, distinguish between them with context! w

sadly im not keeping tabs on newer eroge releases, as im busy with otome for the most part right now:( your best bet is to, once again, refer to appetite, because even though their vns are very short and mostly bitesized, theyre mostly grounded in reality. im also still waiting for flatcheez 4 to come out.. oh and apparently theres a new motto haramase title coming out very soon:0 while its still unreleased, you can try to decipher which heroine is based on which anime character in the meantime, since thats their entire shtick w

I always find it fascinating when a person can enjoy both categories. Personally, I can probably only appreciate one category and not the other.

Since I never run out of games I want to play, I can afford to be somewhat picky.

I would describe the appetite for titles as a mixed bag of "fun" and "horror," along with NTR, MILF, and pure love, truly a mixed assortment. It might be amusing to come up with a lottery system to play whatever the dice land on, but that could be a bad idea.

if you are looking for pure nukige experience, you should! and, if youve never tried them, you should check out squeez titles as well! they share a lot of staff (squeeze has already shut down), but unlike the motto haramase series, it had a slightly more engaged gameplay. or so i heard anyway! w ive seen some criticisms towards motto haramase for being a "choose a scene and watch it play out" for the most part, but at the very least theyre animated!
also it seems like making "parodies" of already existing female anime characters has always been their little thing, so its like a slightly less legal doujinshi.. kinda like this doujinshi which features fate's minamoto no raikou cosplay.. and it was also made into a hentai ova! how fun is that w

i used to play priconne long before the en server came out (rip). it was cute and all, but i hit a combat power wall, so i gradually lost interest.. i liked how they were showering you with gacha currency though, because it meant that you can mostly get any girl you like. bad news if you like most of them though ww. even worse news if your favourite is a juggernaut like kokkoro.. one of their most popular loli..!!
