How many otome/bl games do you finish per year?

I usually only get a little time in the evenings to play, so a single medium to long game can last me about two or three months. I think I play about two? a year. My record was probably four a few years ago when I got back into bl after a long break.

I usually finish about 3 to 5 games per year.
Short games or ones I really get into go pretty quickly, but long titles or games with multiple endings can easily take me 1 to 2 months each…
Lately my backlog has gotten way too big, so my pace has slowed down a lot.

Can you believe I haven't finished any yet?! Ever since I discovered visual novels and all that, I've drifted away from otome games. I've started like 3, but I haven't finished any of them yet Dx

I remember playing every single new release back in the day, but as time goes by, I definitely just check for new releases and don't actually clear any of them... Still, up until recently, I think I've played about five otome games, including the ones I haven't finished. It makes me sad that the number keeps decreasing😥

Last year I think it was an average of one commercial otome game per month, but I have yet to finish a single one this year... I find it easier to do my dailies (aka, do lessons/battles, "visit" friends/allies, and use the five daily tickets to read about 5-10 mins worth of story) for a couple of otome mobage in my rotation. And then when I'm in the mood to sit down and play something, I just play an oelvn that could be finished in one sitting, and that could easily be 30+ a year

I can't recall exactly since I lost my tracker list =)))) I dont just play otome games, I also enjoy all kinds of game genres. Plus, I usually spend more time reading, so it varies; some years I'll burn through more than 5-10 games, and other years I won't play any at all.

I think I'm a pretty fast reader and I also don't play on auto mode or wait for the characters to finish speaking before I move on to the next line.
The key reason is probably because I dedicate most of my free time outside of work / exercise / other commitments to games and when I play, I can go on for hours (on weekends). 😂
姐妹,你是用投屏还是直接触屏玩的呀?我的阅读速度真的会被自动拖累,我总是掌握不好节奏,如果不用自动的功能,一直按手柄真的好累

Are you playing via screen mirroring or direct touch? My reading speed really gets dragged down by the auto mode — I can never quite get the rhythm right. But if I turn off the auto feature, constantly pressing the controller gets so tiring.

主要是按控制器的(除非Steam游戏不支持控制器,或是我在玩PSV时就直接按PSV键),但没有感觉手会累。不过用久了倒是肩膀会僵硬

I mainly use controllers (unless I'm playing Steam games that don't support controllers, or when I'm playing PSV, I will just press the console buttons directly), but I never felt tired pressing buttons. That said, I do find my shoulders getting stiff from long hours of playing occasionally.

I understand now. I play with various small controllers, and the text in new otome games is very small these days. I use a portable screen, so I can't use touch controls. The controllers you mentioned are gamepads, right? But holding small controllers for long periods actually makes my hands ache too. Sometimes I wish I could play otome games as fast as reading a book. It usually takes me nearly a month to fully complete a game.
