How do you feel about fan discs? Do you always play it or skip it all together?

It depends on how much I liked the original game. If I loved it, and thus craving more content then I'm definitely going to play the fandisks, but if I didn't enjoy it or only enjoyed a single route of the original I'll probably pass on it.

Deepens on how much I liked the original game !! If I'm liking the characters or want more contents of the game i definitely grab the FD as well
 
For me fandiscs depend!

If I enjoyed the entire game i'll play the full fandiscs but usually I will only play the characters I enjoyed in the original game + additional characters/new characters.
 
I haven't played a single fandisc yet, I have no idea how it would be different from regular otome games, but hopefully I can get my hands on some of these games soon. I hear some of them there's just only one singular ending?
 
I play them if I love the game, but even then, I know that not all fan discs match the quality of the first release.

I want to know what happens to each character after the main story. Fandiscs usually give us some sweet moments and add new content — it's something to look forward to, and it also feels really comforting.
 
I always play it if they have FD/Sequel, especially if it my fav otome games.
 
I always like Fandisc ! Wish more Otome/BL have a fandisc 😔
I usually play fandisc just for the character i like though, i also don't really play the minigame that sometimes included in the fandisc, the only one i've played is kichiku megane typing minigame
 
I'll play the fandisk if I liked at least one LI enough to want to see more of him.
 
I have been disappointed by fan discs in the past, so I will decide whether to play it after reading other people's reviews. But if I really loved the LI, I might just play it without caring.
 
it depends on how much i enjoyed the original game! i mostly read only the characters that i liked though, fandiscs usually has more chill storyplot compared to original game

Depends on how plot-heavy the FD is? If there's plot/secret reveals or elaboration on a "true ending" then I'm way more invested (CXM Adonis route or Piofiore 1926 style for example). Cute fluff and mini games just seems a bit too filler for me...I like wedding extras tho
 
I'll usually only check the fandisc if it has a new route. I do play other fandiscs if they have good reviews, but I prefer to prioritize new games

If they have additions to the first game's story it's more likely I'll play them
 
I usually play most fan discs when they come out. I enjoyed the main game, the more I want to see even a little bit more of the characters' stories. Just the thought of reuniting with characters I've already grown to love is enough to make me look forward to fan discs.
 
I usually play them but I might not 100% them.
I like it when they allow me to spend some more time with my favourite characters but there are also some that I just don't care about that much..
 
I actually like it and think it's a nice addition to the main game. Sometimes there are character paths that weren't there before, which is a big plus.
There might not always be something new to discover, but it's definitely nice to spend a little more time with your favorite characters.
 
If i liked the original game, i definitely will play the fandisk or if i saw the fandisk release and i´m interested then i will play the original game first and then go for the fandisk!

Yes, some of them have just a single ending, but it depends on the amount of fluff vs drama the game aims for! You still get to make a choice how to reply to the LI while playing the route even if it doesn't affect the ending though.

As for me, if there's at least 1 LI in the main game that I like, I'll get its FD and sequel just for that one LI!
