For me, it's the guys who are overly possessive, controlling, or disrespectful to the heroine but get excused as "romantic." I really prefer LIs who respect the heroine's boundaries and treat her as an equal, not someone who just wants to own her.
No matter how good-looking or popular a character is, that kind of behavior is a total turn-off for me.

It's even worse when the character's whole personality is being in love with MC.
" I'm so sorry fictional men haha. In My Next Life as a Villainess that doesn't apply since everyone is pretty much in love with her so her real fiance took the fall, sorry Geordo
