What was your biggest mobile otome shut-down heartbreak?

The king of fighters for girls. It was shutdown in 2021 (the wiki says the announcement to it on twitter was posted on this day what a coincidence) and only heard about it a year after... I was recently getting into fighting games like kof at the time too so that bummed me off a bit.
Ehh they look kind of ugly anyways. (No shade to the artists that worked on this game I swear. )

I had been away from my hobbies for a while, but thanks to this app, I've returned to the world of otaku.

I loved Mea-kun so much, and it's sad that I can't see him anymore.
 
NTT solmare games. They are still going but they removed all my games I bought without any compensation. Actually made to this day!!
 
Mystic messengers.
Because in main story's V route hasn't kiss scene, While other routes exist...😂 But MM is still one of my most favourite otome game.

It broke my heart when the game shut down, especially since the story was still unfinished. 😞

Isn't Mystic messenger still alive? 😯 I still have the game on my phone and I went to check just now. I thought it shut down when it was suddenly mentioned here..

I still have a small hope maybe Voltage will bring back the Liar series on console someday. It was popular after all. They managed to port Ayakashi to Switch so I believe they can rework Liar's system to work on other platforms too, if they actually try.
I don't have hope for SWD. It looks like Solmare is a lazy company compared to Voltage

Tokimeki Restaurant ☆☆☆ (ときめきレストラン☆☆☆) I really miss them 😭

The gameplay is very fun. You can cook for their favourite food and get special event, decorating your restaurant with cute decorations.

The story in events had beautiful CG visuals, and you can vote for characters to get furniture to decorate your restaurant.

All the music was great, and there were 3D live performances too.

I wish this game come back again. 🥺
 
I was really sad when the game '中の人増殖計画' ended its service.
and I even bought a pin badge, but now the game is gone…
 
OLD voltage. The ones where they'd even send you little emails after each chapter from your love interest or another character in the chapter.

I didn't know about the emails until after I finished a few routes and it was just heart wrenching. (⁠灬⁠º⁠‿⁠º⁠灬⁠)⁠♡

It was so cute getting to read from my love interest as well as side characters and it made it very sweet as it felt like they were actually messaging and checking up on you. (I've kept so! many! I can't bring myself to ever trash them.) ヾ⁠(⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠*⁠)⁠ﾉ

I'm also hugely still bothered by the whole Fictif debacle. I LOVED their app and stories. They had beautiful art, characters you actually liked and enjoyed getting to know (side and main), fantastic stories with unique and fun story lines (bawled my little eyes out on Roadkill). (⁠´⁠°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥⁠ω⁠°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥⁠｀⁠)

My Sweet Proposal was one of my favorite games. I feel like their stories actually were interesting and they dared to make the LIs feel more human, they had defects like for example Ryoichi from my Sweet Proposal had this ex he never moved on from and it drove me mad but that's how you know it's good writing. I was always so excited to read the next chapter.

The Throne of Girl. The art, plot, and voice acting were all top-notch. Such a waste to see it shut down like this.🥲
 
乙女だと確信されていなかったことをゲーム再開しますが、私にとって最も辛かったのは、夢色キャストがサービスを終了した時でした。

登場人物は皆個性的で、私は全員が大好きでした。 心温まる物語からシリアスな物語まで、それぞれのキャラクターの物語を読んで楽しかったです。

音楽に関しては、終盤はボーカルよりもBGMが中心だったが、演出とキャラクターの覚悟は本当に中毒性があった。

彼らが夢を追い求める揺るぎない姿勢に、私は深く感動しました。

オフライン版がリリースされると発表された時、私はすぐに購入を決めました。それは私のお気に入りの乙女ゲームの一つだったからです。

The "GREE" versions of Voltage's My Sweet Bodyguard and Be My Princess, and the "+" versions of Shall We Date The Niflheim, My Sweet Prince, Ninja Love, and a special mention for Scarlet Fate, which was developed with Idea Factory. I really enjoyed the small challenges and gacha mechanics these games had.

Few days ago, i tried to open wizardess heart and discovered they shut it down last year 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i played it around 2015 - 2020 😢
 
The one that saddened me the most was "The King of Fighters for Girls." I was really looking forward to it from the start of its service because it was about romance with characters from fighting games I played as a child, and I was also hoping that more characters would be added in the future, so I was truly sad when the service ended.
 
Mines Ikemen Revolution </3 among all of the ikemen series I've played, it has my most taken care of account, I just loved the game so much.

And, if it counts, Dream Meister and the Recollected Black Fairy. I liked its predecessor (Yume100), so I played it as soon as it got released. Great visuals, great designs, great cast list, great characters; I was in love. Then I heard it was shutting down when I was on a break from it :forsaken:

I miss shall we date so much... like I get that it's really costly to keep the app up but there's really no other way to play them legitamately now

Oh my god! I absolutely love this game too. Decorating the restaurant and cooking are so much fun—I seriously miss playing this game too.
 
Notice Me Senpai. It's this Neko Atsume-like game but with ikemen you can collect. I can't believe how it got taken down. Loved it so did many others.
