Do you play R18 Otome Games?

I've never played R18 otome games but I'm kinda intrigued! I think I'll dig into them a bit at some point, but for now my priority is finishing the backlog of games I currently have and it's going to take me, uh... quite a while to get there considering my pace, lmao

If anyone happens to know some with 30+yo LIs though, I might be swayed into trying something earlier because I'm not immune to being influenced and I do love the prospect of H-scenes with a beautiful man in his 30s or older 🤤 (even better if he's in his 40s but I'm not gonna push my luck there)

I played a few! Chou no Doku is my first R18 otome and remains my favorite. That game legit made me cry multiple times it was so good.

I tried playing PersonA ~Opera Za no Kaijin~ but I dropped it because one route (I forget whose) has no story progression? Like it's just a bunch of self-indulgent romantic scenes that you would find in fanfictions ☹️ I tried playing Ai wa Nikushimi ni Yoku Niteiru as well but I didn't continue it because of the art style bothers me so much lol

I'm eyeing Jooubachi but I don't know when I'll pick it up. It looks interesting

Chou no Doku has a 37yo LI, there's a 35 one in Koezaru as well! Akazukin to Mayoi no Mori, Tsuki no Hikari both have LIs in their early 30s too. They're all in Japanese though

And here I am, too embarrassed to even leave my house to buy bread at the corner bakery or to say good morning to the mailman, lol. You're the enemy of shame, I would never have that audacity.
I mean, to be fair, most people I know are also pretty shameless lol (I have some guy friends with interesting Steam libraries lmao). And I'm quite shy myself! I just get more confident when someone gets to "friend" status haha. When I'm comfortable with someone, anything goes! Even eroge and BL screenshots :b

Daisuke Hirakawa really is a gem! He never disappoints ;)

I don't mind playing in Japanese! Thank you for the recommendations! :D

I rarely play since we don't have that many translated.
If you have a translator (I use Luna) you can get around with that! Its pretty easy to use and I've been having a good time playing unlocalized games this way. :)

Oh, I know about Luna and even some apps to translate games on your phone. I'm just not a fan of MTL  I'm focusing on learning Japanese but it's surely taking me a long time to achieve that :swearveng:

Oooh I understand, its gonna be a long process but at least it will be incredibly beneficial for you lol.

I usually lean more towards BL games (maybe that's a questionable preference haha), but I do play otome as well! I feel the same way R18 otome are fun, but they just don't hit me emotionally like regular otoge do
I've also been taking notes of everyone's recommendations in this thread and I'm loving it XD

There's an R18 otome gacha game called ValkryeHeart, has anyone here played it? I recently got it but it seems like you need to grind for it. :/

I've played a few and while they feel different, I still enjoyed them. I guess I see the R18 parts as an extension of the romance :)

I've played a couple-Benibana (crimson flowers), PersonA, tsuki no hikari taiyou no Kage, and heart cage.

They are great! But unfortunately I prefer to play on the console, bc there is more freedom to where I can play it (on the couch, in bed etc).

I'm currently trying somes, and honestly, I dont have much hope for R18 otome games =)) so it's quite a surprise for me because the MC in Monochrome Wizard is kind of well written (I have not finished it yet, may change in future but I really hope not, would be a shame) :Ddd I also played Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome =)) not into the R18 scenes much, the story is hilarious though.
Usually, I kind of turn off my brain with R18 otome, but yes, most of the story dont leave much impression except for their sexual scenes, which are kind of cringe and crazy =))) On the other hand, most of the famous titles are quite old, so it's not surprising that the story is cringe and stuff =))))))
I believe the reason why this type of game is not famous is because many of them lack localizations =)) From what I've observed, quite a lot people do want some more R18 games, myself include so I really excited to know there's one upcomning soon with it has english patch =))))

Dont worry, it's very friendly for F2P and kind of generous, I've played it and ended up with more than 500 tickets in a short time (I dont remember the details, but rest assured). The system is so simple that you dont have much to do daily. The only thing that is hard is the gift system, but you'll be fine :Ddd That being said, the art is not consistent, though.

Rarely. BL > Otome, majority of the time. But if one has equal good story and tasteful smut, then yes.

I just played one recently called Heart Cage! I don't usually play English otome games, but this one completely blew me away. It's so my cup of tea, and I loved the character designs and personalities of almost all the LIs.

I've played quite a few r18 otomes that I've really enjoyed like Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome! I just want spice in my otome games sometimes but I'll still always love a sfw otome.

I've played a few games, but I mostly skip the R18 scenes. I just get bored playing through them, so at this point, I treat R18 and non-R18 games exactly the same. The problem is that most R18 games have really shallow plots. They focus so much on setting up the R18 scenes that they don't invest much in the story. Some do actually put effort into the plot, but they're super rare.

Ooh ok! I think I just have some difficulties trying to raise my affection with the characters. I'm very new so I probably will just have to read some guides on it lol.

I know, right? Few days ago I could read this entire screenshot (aside the character name) and I somehow felt proud of myself :ROFLMAO:

Small steps but still walking forward at least~ (and sorry it took me a while to answer. My AS refused to open this page for a while and would freeze my entire browse when I would try to open it )
sorry, could you please put the screenshot under spoiler? not everyone has read folie fatale yet, and this is a veryvery spoilery cg:( but its really great when you can see your progress lol! good for you~

also same! i tried to attach a screenshot in another thread yesterday, and it caused the entire site kinda die for me lol. at least it was fixed this morning but, i guess no more images for a while..;

Yes,I like to play R-18 games ,I think R-18 part is also a important part between the relationship
