MMD discussion and sharing

I've been playing with the new UI and i must agree that on a smaller screen the entire section of

Users who are viewing this thread

is taking up too much space. The Scaling is a bit wonky on a 16:9 aspect ratio. It looks proper with a vertical screen orientation though.
aahh that explain why im all fine with it, im on vertical and after switched to horizontal do see some of what you guys been talking too, still tho an updates feedbacks do need some time before considering a rollback, give it 2weeks to a month? personally i like this new one

I thought I disabled it but I didn't.

I just did now.

you like the old color more?

Weird, I asked like 20 peoples, and only 8% tell me the old one looks marginally better.
Sample size might be an issue with a small survey like that. Those people you asked might have similar hardware. Also it seems like the name Users who are viewing this thread section has disappeared but the element just turn empty. The empty space is still there and can be mistakenly scrolled down by accident. I make the chat seem smaller than it should be.

try f5 ur pages, it should fixed the empty spaces of "users who are viewing" sections because mine dont have any, straight up only the discussion pages

Yeah I cannot afford to ask more, we are running a huge deficit and the economy isn't great.

No worries, if this turns out to be a disaster, we can change back to discussion thread type, there's no data loss in converting one to another.

I was more mentioning things like screen size like phones and smaller montiors. Not server hardware or general stuff. Also this is what i mean. If you scroll in the red circle area you can still see the empty space.

1440p 16:9 aspect ratio. But i can also do it in a veritcal setup as i run dual montiors. The scroll is harder to do on the moblie browser app but still possible.

If you want a total pancake interface, you can go back to the home page and click on the little button at the corner to select fluid, then come back here for the most horizontal screen space.

If your screen is small enough to become a mobile view, then the layout shift completely, would you try it on your phone?

I definitely found out I have to hover my mouse more carefully because the reactions are now also boxed. With most of our names being blue, links are blue, and no borderline to seperate the messages.
It would be nice if you can take some screen shot and annotate

Also a very annoying that I can't stay on one page anytime I switch to horizontal or vertical view. Refreshing will sometimes reset me back to whatever page my brower wants to.

Is there a way to view the old ui? I need to take screenshot for comparison.
impossible, not without changing this thread back to discussion type.

I think I'll leave it for today at least and then check out the feedback. I wanted to gather a decent amount of feedback, but if this doesn't work, I might salvage something, like the meticulously designed infinity scroll I created.

The Websocket system that allows us to receive instant messaging will most likely stay however.

admin kun i do find the popup of "X is typing" section is can be a bit annoying because it constantly shifts the thread sections up and down whenever someone is typing, perhaps it can be changes to something better that didnt shift the thread section up and down when someone is typing? or its just an issue on my client side?

Holy I was reading your message and the "X is typing" really just block me from reading what you just typed.

During the design phase, I actually make it slide up (without layout shifting). Do you see it shifting?

I would suggest making this the default view for this thread. It does make the UI more like a chat room. Also that button is so small and all the way at the bottom of the screen after a scroll that it is almost missable. I would guess alot of people dont know about that button. It took me a couple minutes to even find it after being told of its existance.
