Are there any times in an Otoge that you've played that you cringe at? Or just feel is very awkward? I rarely feel like that in games now that I'm older but it was a different case when I was younger lol

If it's a "bad" game that doesn't work for me, I drop it, and I often start with low to mid expectation at most. If there is any moment that cringes me, it would be when the character gets so inconsistent in personality, and especially when acting immature without justification. Or, when certain ending feels so rushed as if the team is suddenly out of budget. A bit off-topic, but it disappoints me the most when CGs are drawn so bad when the scene itself is well-written.

When the MC sells herself short!
Recently I played a route where MC is in love with the LI so much, she offers to just be in casual relationship with him (friends with benefits), bc he refuses to get into a serious relationship. I cringed sooo hard!
(She's not a player herself so it's not a normal action for her)
Also when the MC constantly pushes herself onto the LI when he is obviously not interested in her is cringe for me too.

There's no way to not mention Yossung XD someone needs to make that Monika meme "just Monika" but put Yossung in and say "Just Rika" lol As for the game's messaging and notification system, oh I always thought it was creative, it added more immersion! It's better than the ticket system that many mobile otome games use

Even knowing that he can put questionable elements in your tea that will paralyze you You're brave XD Speaking of him, I finally gave him a chance when I replayed DiaLovers the other day and he's not so bad after all. In fact, he's quite kind and sweet, I didn't feel any "diabolical" vibe from him besides the tea incident! He even feeds carbonara to the protagonist, he's adorable (´∩｡• ᵕ •｡∩`)

I did remember Jumin's though. That was kinda hot if it weren't for the fact that he lost his cat and treats MC as the replacement. As a cat owner, that just made me sad instead...

As for the question for the thread itself, I would say to be cringe is to be free... So I learned to laugh it off.
That said, as an adult... I would prefer to keep the headphones on at all times because I don't want people to hear the LIs making weird noises. XD;;

Yeah lol, there's like three for him I believe? All characters have at least three bad endings in MysMe if I'm not mistaken
I was talking about the one were he starts believing the MC is exactly like Rika and develops an obsession with her. He then breaks into the apartment (that has a bomb) because he doesn't trust the others and vows to protect the MC. The apartment explodes with him and the MC inside.
It's hard to get this bad ending by mistake though, so no surprise you haven't seen them!

Ohhhh, THAT ONE. I wouldn't exactly call that a yandere ending... But yeah it sure is... an ending (bad).
The only thing I remember from him was the Mint Eye bad ending.
