HELP - Any software recommendation to track gameplay time?

I want to record my own gameplay time for the visual novels played, but instead of pressing timer each time, i wonder if there is any popular software.

If you're playing them on your PC, you can add games to video game library manager programs such as Steam and Playnite to track your hours

yep, just like dogiwall said playnite is pretty good! i also use vnmanager (thanks to the recommendation from this forum!!:D) for titles that are on vndb. both are pc only though i think

You could use game sentence miner I guess for JP games?

I personally use etupirka for pc games. The interface is in Japanese, but it's very simplistic and easy to use. It also stops counting when you alt tab/minimize.
