What side characters do you wish got their own routes?

So, yours truly played Olympia Soiree recently and I'm so sad that neither Kaina nor Kanan got routes. I love tragic and and evil characters and I genuinely thought that we'd get characters from all the colors sort of like how Starry Sky has different games about different set of guys.

Oh my god, so many!! Otome games have a very irritating habit of not letting you date really interesting side characters... One that's really been on my mind is Jinpachi Nezu from Homura: The Crimson Warriors. Not only is he handsome and charming, I really wanted to see more of his past! Hopefully it'll get a sequel and he'll be a love interest in that one...

I swear the ones you don't get to date are the ones with the deepest stories and most amazing character designs too 😭
Hakuouki really understood the assignment when they let us date Sannan and Yamazaki though 😍

Always fun when you end up falling for the side character...

Solitus from Cafe Enchante (they gave us a character voiced by Midorikawa Hikaru, and yet, he isn't a LI...), Enishi from Bad Apple Wars (I really like his personality!) and Kokko from Dairoku.
Also the classics: Roberto from Piofiore and Saeki from CxM lol

Like everyone else, there's A LOT, but to narrow it down, Dromi from Cafe Enchante. I think his design is cute, I like his personality as well as the revelation of the fact he's crazy. Another one I want is Demento from Period Cube- I know he has a semi-route, but I want a full route for him!

His childish obsession, his biting way of speaking... he is truly the worst. But I wish I could embrace him regardless.

Let's see...Venia and Solitus from Cafe Enchante- feel like both of them would have made interesting match-ups with the mc.
Then I really liked the overall design for Hansel from Code Realize- luckily one of the FDs gave us some crumbs for him.
Oh and I haven't properly started Piofiore 1926 yet, but Rui looks really cute!

He has such good possible yandere vibes and is super handsome. I would have loved to romance him. Not to mention that his slight tsundere attitude would have made for some really cute moments 🤭

Also Sachsen Brandenburg from Steam Prison (I know he technically got a route in the FD but that game was SO RUSHED I hated it so much). He gave me really strong Aki Myoujin vibes and I would have loved to fuck around with him and get his bad endings
 
Years have passed, but I'm still hoping for a route for Vanderwood from MysMe, I bet he'd be the tsundere archetype XD. Gonglu from Neon Clash also have potential for a good route; if a fandisk of that game comes out, I hope he has a route, or I'll freak out. Saburou Miki and Shiranui from Hakuoki too. I'd also love at least a short chapter of a cute moment with Dahut and Nadia. And also for Spiel and Caputine, they had chemistry...
 
never shutting up about how Adam should have been a route in Bustafellows. Saeki from cxm eventhough it would ruin ichika's character imo. maybe an alternate reality.
 
AmuLit games side characters. I need them all. Their designs are just lit. I don't know why the older guys aren't date-able, it's especially bad in Red Bell's Lament, the main guys look like kids to me.
With the entire side cast of Red Bell and Neon Clash, they can make whole new games.
 
The side characters in Virche Evermore!! just give me an au of jean and capucine..
 
I'd love to see a route for Lioji from Dark Nights, the protagonist's friend. In the DLC, his sprite looked so good that it honestly made me want a route for him even more 😅
Even though it's a Western otome game, I still can't help but wish he had his own route!
