Favorite LIs: which ones would you date or befriend irl, and which ones would you never want to meet irl?

As you may see from my pfp lol I really like Dante from piofiore. Love his personality love his design, however irl I would NOT want to even be perceived by this guy or exist in his vicinity because he's a mafia boss lmao. Unless we're talking about his alternate universe selves from some of the Drama CDs where he's more of a normal guy.

As for a favorite LI I would actually want to date, I'm going to be very simple and say Tamao from Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 3 or Rafayel from Love and Deepspace. Maybe Yoosung from Mystic Messenger too! If Hibiki from 9.R.I.P. weren't a ghost then him too lol.

I would date 707 because I know that every day by his side would be a lot of laughs. Yves from Virche Evermore too, even though I know we'd cook terribly together, haha. I'm not sure if I'd date Heisuke since he's sweet, or if we'd just be besties; on one hand he's a sweetheart, but on the other he seems too indecisive. Taira from Birushana is my type, so I'd go out with him too. I'd also date everyone from Him Smile & Bloom, but if I had to choose just one, I think it would be Wataru. Even though he is the youngest, I think he'd support me a lot if I was feeling down. Although I know there would be a lot of arguments, I would totally date Takeru; I can already see us fighting over donuts! My beloved Shitara from TokiMemo 3 too! And last but not least, Gonglu from Neon Clash (I can fix him and I need a route with this man for yesterday!)

I would be best friends with Shinpachi and Harada, Minamoto, Subaru from DL if he could control his anger issues, Gilbert and Orlok from Piofiore, and Vilio from Radiant Tale. Now, who would I never date? First and foremost, Yang, without a doubt. Unfortunately, Gilbert from Cupipara wouldn't work either, even though he was my favorite route along with Alan's. Ikki from Amnesia Memories wouldn't either, and much less Dante (I still hold a grudge for what he did to poor Orlok in the bad ending, how dare he?) and Saeran too; the psychological drama would be too much for me before I get to his sweet side.

i'd love to be besties with everyone from club suicide (meiyo is love meiyo is life) but mitsuki, shiki and tsuzuri would be intimidating for me... from hanakare i'd date tenya, for sure!

would not want around me: hikage (psychedelica), kazuaki (hatoful boyfriend), kuroyuki (nightshade)... a lot of guys i like are nice but the circumstances around them are too chaotic like scarecrow from bustafellows omg i wouldn't get involved with all that

I love Saint-German and Yang from Code Realize/Piofiore but i can't reload my life and i don't want be killed. Also any my fav yandere boys i don't wont meet irl. I can be friends with Kent from Amnesia. I love his route but he is not my type. Maybe he can teach me math haha ....
I will date irl Gilbert from Piofiore or Hijikata.

Honestly I'd rather NOT date any of my otome favourites as they're all pretty scary or I have 100% certainty i wouldn't like them irl LOL. For befriending, I could imagine I'd get along with scarecrow and most of the jackjeanne cast.. As for who I'd hate dating, pretty much everyone I like but especially seiya or minami from 9rip.. i'd hate to deal with supernatural stuff

When I thought about which characters I would never want to meet in real life, the first ones that came to mind were definitely the LIs from Piofiore: Fated Memories.
I really enjoyed playing Piofiore, but there's no way I'd want to meet any of them in real life. I simply cannot get anywhere near the mafia

On the other hand, the characters I'd actually want to meet (even just as a fan) would probably be from Uta no Prince-sama.
That said, I know my own limits lol, so realistically I could never become friends with—let alone date—those ridiculously perfect otome game guys. I'd be perfectly happy just cheering them on from afar.

I want to be friends with nerd/geek kinds of characters and I don't want to meet Utakata Yori irl (unfortunately I met a lot of narcissist like him to the point that I don't get why some people really like red flag characters but no offense! I know otome games/books is a space to explore more kinds of characters for some people, this is just my personal opinion ^ ^

I would probably date Goemon from Nightshade, since he's the only green flag from my favs. My other LIs are often around MC's age, or very toxic, or both.

Though i would probably be okay befrending Shirota (Jack Jeanne), and maaaaybe Mabuchi and Eba (Club Suicide).

And I would definetly avoid Karakurenai (Hana Awase), Claude and Molly (Over RequiemZ).

My type is tsundere or yandere-style guys, so I definitely wouldn't want to date anyone like that in real life. My taste in otome games is the complete opposite of my real-life preferences. In real life, I prefer men who are kind and well-mannered.

- Shin from Amnesia I feel like his tsun is manageable for me irl, plus he also cares about his significant other a lot. Appearance wise he is also totally me type. So I could see myself dating him and have a pretty healthy relationship.

Befriend:
- Orlok from Piofiore: He is such a sweet cinnamon bun that deserves the world(*´ω｀*) Unfortunately, due to the nature of his profession, I would *not* want to date him lol. But I feel like if it's just befriending him, it would be fine:) Like occasionally check in on him if I spotted him on the streets or sth haha.

Never want to meet:
- Keisaiin F Ryuki from Cupid Parasite: Uhh I'd be so scared to hear what type of rating he would give me(๏д๏) NO, THANK YOU!

- Tomomori from Birushana: Yes he is super hot and charming, but he was a kinda intimidating aurora that would make me scared to meet him irl, besides the other stuff related to him that is spoiler related.

I don't really self insert, so I wouldn't like to date any of my favorite LIs! I only like seeing them with the MCs haha
Also, most of my favorite characters are yanderes, older brothers or self destructive types, getting close to them wouldn't be very smart in RL

I'd like to befriend Kouta from Sweet Fuse and Taiga from VariBari though! And Suzuka from TMGS!

Even though Hijikata is one of my favorite LIs of all time, I would never approach him in real life. This guy is a tough nut to crack and I'd give up on pursuing him. His worksexuality and zero interest in romance would end me, even though I like workaholics and stubborn people, but not this guy, he's just too much. I also don't really like people who yell or are loud, I prefer more calm and soft-spoken ones (not if it's Miki Shinichiro). But the saddest part for me is that he can't cook. I headcanon him being good at chores, though

It's hard for me to choose who I would date, definitely not someone from a historical setting even though it's my favorite. Probably it would be Yanagi(CollarXMalice) and Zayne(Love and Deepspace) because they're perfect husband materials. They'll cook your meal, clean your house, heal your heart and just be there for you
