AI art in otome games

还是喜欢真人画的,AI图就算有修改过,也还是觉得很奇怪,而且AI缺乏个人风格(°A°`)

I still prefer real person drawings. Even if AI graphics have been modified, I still find them strange, and AI lacks personal style(°A°`)

I really dislike AI-generated art. Even if it produces good-looking results, it's still using a library of other artists' work, which can greatly dampen creators' enthusiasm. Moreover, AI-generated images often have strange details, such as occasionally drawing six fingers and other oddities.

If you think about AI's unique paintings that do not feel the soul of human artists and fingers that are still drawn in six, I don't think they should be used in the game art part.

I'm not really a fan of AI-generated art. That's because many of the images have a similar vibe and aren't unique at all.

I think there are two sides to this issue. It feels unfair when large companies or developers running crowdfunding campaigns use AI art instead of hiring professionals. Seeing high-budget titles utilize AI for art is disappointing because they have the resources to support real artists.

On the other hand, I wonder about solo developers creating a project entirely on their own. If someone is doing all the programming and writing but lacks the specific art style needed for a visual novel, using AI tools might be their only way to finish the game. In my opinion, it depends on the specific situation. Each case is individual

It's never truly the same, no matter what certain companies try to convince audiences with. It feels icky to use the art of professionals and human beings and then to turn around use AI in the same breath. I'd rather having overused models or outlines to create games rather than soulless machine churning out an amalgamation of art.

I haven't seen any AI otome games, but it is acceptable for me to use AI background in games, even music.
As for character or CG, no thank you.

Uhh, I'm totally against it. I play otomege for plot and romance first, of course, but I still like to see individual artists styles in the game. I really liked the unique look of the Black Wolves Saga, for example, it suited the dark and uncomfortable story in the game. Moreover, I like the difference between Yomi's style in the Virche and the Crazy Chain— the soft, natural shadows versus cel-shading make you feel difference in the atmosphere

I don't like AI otome games.Actually, I play games just to see more amazing artwork created by artists. Most of the game's storyline can be conveyed through means other than the game itself. If it's an AI game, there's no point playing it.That's how it is for me.

I'm not completely against the use of AI in otome games, but I'd prefer that core elements like CG artwork and music are created by human hands. I understand using AI for efficiency, but since otome games are about the experience itself, I personally favor titles where the CG and music are carefully crafted by people.

I hate it. In fact there's a western otome that's p popular (it's only a demo) and uses ai art but won't admit it. The creator even left because people kept asking and the community attacks anyone who asks. Its v clearly ai. It sucks because they're clearly a talented writer.

I haven't seen any otome games that use AI (I don't doubt they exist, though), but I have seen other indie VNs use it, and it is a massive turn-off to me. One, it's AI and that's already a can of worms, but two it just feels lazy. I understand someone making an indie VN might not know how to draw/can't afford a spectacular artist, but it just feels wrong to me. I'd much rather play MSPaint tier indie games than one with AI art.

No , I don't like Ai in otome games. While the AI-generated art is indeed beautiful, I'm not willing to sink my money into a game that hasn't put in the effort to meticulously polish everything, from the artwork to the content.

Absolutely against it. I am so glad the "AI Content Disclaimer" exists on Steam, because I just avoid anything that has it, ESPECIALLY if it's for art.

The moment that AI shows up in the game, then I'd turn away from the game. The art in otome games and honestly every game is what helps bring the game to life, but by replacing it with AI you're taking the life out of that said game. There's so many amazing artists out there that deserve to have their art shown off in these games.
