What otome/BL games are you currently playing and what are your impressions so far?

Currently I'm playing Café Enchanté and I'm both enchanted and caught off guard!! Initially, I thought the game would be more relaxed like HanaKare because it had that calmer vibe, running a restaurant, learning here and there about some types of coffee preparation (I was having flashbacks to Persona 5 when Sakurai teaches the protagonist about coffee beans every time we were going to prepare them to enter the palace XD). The characters were also very relaxed and funny in the common route, especially Il! And then... I ended up on Ignis' route right away. Without giving spoilers, I found the beginning very peaceful and a little repetitive, so when it got to the last three chapters with that whole plot twist, I was totally incredulous. My reaction was exactly this:

Since I play blind, I was very afraid of getting a bad ending, especially since I got quite attached to Ignis, and the game makes a point of sometimes making it seem like that was happening XD I managed to get a good ending in the end, but the scare still remains, haha. I'm simply loving this game, even though I felt like I was tricked; there's nothing relaxing or calm about this game! I think I'll go for Canus' route now!

I've finally started playing Ooe after hearing so many great things about it. I wanted to wait until the full version released but didn't have time until now. I was actually a bit unsure if I would like the game at first because all the characters look so similar in comparison to other VNs I've played but so far I actually kind of like that decision! It feels more realistic and all their personalities and sprites are distinct enough that I wouldn't confuse someone with someone else. It also fits the art direction really well when all the characters are on screen.

I really love the mystery and atmosphere so far, even though I'm probably not too far in the game yet. There's so many unanswered questions still and I'm so looking forward to figuring them out!! This is actually the 2nd BL/otome game I've ever played where I was actually so engaged that I keep playing in 6-8h sessions (the other one was Shingakkou <3).

I never look up anything before starting a game so I'm hoping the character I'm most interested in is actually dateable though lol (but so far I'd be down with most of them anyway) .

Cafe Enchante looks really cute, I'm interested in playing it in the future as well!! The art style is really sweet. ♡ ♡

Oh, this is the first time I've heard about this game. I took a quick look at it and it seems really cool, and since I've never played a BL game before and I'm looking for one, this one seems great since it seems to be a mystery game, I really like games like that! Is it available for the Switch? By the way, Café Enchanté is really good, so far I'm enjoying it a lot! Give it a try when you can!

also Tokimeki Memorial Girls Side 3rd on a mobile psp emulator (the closest thing to the original device), I'm trying to get Karens ending right now (so close...). The dudes in this game are lowkey chopped but maybe there are some cute secret characters that I haven't met yet. Maybe maybe...

(mc just says something like geez here, disappointing... I would say something like oh my god yes yess take me away from these chuds karen lets ride away to a rainbow, but it would creep her instead this time.)

karen and miyo are so lovable, they're a huge part of why i enjoyed tmgs3... karen is always flirting with bambi it's crazy

I recently played a BL game called Lesson. While its premise isn't for everyone, I found it to be exceptionally good. If you don't mind a bleak, heavy storyline, it's definitely a title I'd recommend playing through at least once without spoilers.

im also reading this one!!!:D and there is a guide for it! its less of a complete step-by-step walkthrough and more of a set of directions you should be taking for each ending (because of how unique the system is). its completely spoiler-less too, so check it out!

I wish we could take the girls out on proper dates too!! (I want to do skinship and walk to home with karen uuggghhhh!!!!) but giving her a call and just skipping right into the hang out without the dress up stress is kind of nice too I'm not going to lie here heheh. (I guess this is expecting waayyy to much from anywhere you look at it...)

have fun!!!!! though i think in order for hints to pop up in your second walkthrough, you kinda have to get to day 10 with no ending along the way. i triggered the coffee event too many times and it did count as an ending but apparently not the "unlock hints" one ww

Obviously I haven't finished it so I cannot fully endorse it yet but so far it really seems like a really great game to everyone who's interested in mystery. It's BL so it will probably be explicit later but I'll surprise myself lol. The game isn't out on Switch yet (it also hasn't been translated yet but it's planned), but since Hashihime (same developer I think?) is on Switch I would expect this game to release on Switch in the future as well, especially since it had such favorable reviews. :)

I've started Tokyo Satsujinki, it's BL and because I just started, I can't really warn you more than what the tags on vndb say. But so far, it's pretty good, although it really is trying to take it's time to show the very lived in world of these characters, so it's quite a bit lore heavy. Even translated it's making me take time to process what I read and connect the narrative points. But I have high hope that the rich lore will lead to an interesting and charming plot.

I'm incredibly grateful to this game for utterly crushing me and leaving me in a pit of despair and tears for a whole week. Apparently, I haven't had enough of that feeling yet, so I've decided to check out some titles from "Parade". Right now, I'm choosing between "Lkyt" and "No Thank You!!!"

I just recently finished Utakata no Uchronia and moved straight into Olympia Soiree! I am really enjoying it so far—the world-building and the whole color settings are so unique and interesting. I like all of the LIs so far, which is pretty rare for me. I can't wait to dive deeper and see how all of their stories unfold!

Im currently working my through sympathy kiss. While I do really like slice of life vns this one is really hard to get through. I really took for granted a faced mc; the dialogue is very clunky in parts cause of the faceless mc.

I was surprised it had a faceless MC since most non-mobile ports on the Swtich I've played have faces- I agree with you I took it for granted too!

Getting through the otome Bustafellows Season 2. I enjoyed the first one a lot, not sure how I feel about this so far. Maybe I'm just not far enough in yet.

Currently replaying Lamento (BL), it's been a long time since I've played and I'd like to refresh my memory on some routes.
As for otome, I'm also making my way through Piofiore. I stalled on the game some time ago (life got a bit hectic) but now I'm enjoying it quite a bit!

Cafe Enchante really gets you with the cutesy intro haha
Ignis' route was wild, but he ended up as my favorite LI in the game

I'm currently playing Radiant Tale, I'm still in the intro and haven't started anyone's route yet. But I'm keeping an eye on Paschalia, I love the game's artist and so far I'm really enjoying the storyline.

I just recently started playing Shingakkou and I can't believe it took me so long to find out it existed I'm a huge Kuroshitsuji fan so the similar premise is really speaking to me lmao. I'm also playing Lkyt on and off... tbh I keep forgetting that I have it :') looking forward to Yael though

Finally able to get a weekend to hermit and solely dissociate from reality. Binged Volontes (really liked how routes are relatively short compared to longer games, helps hold my attention!) and think the game ties up hints left in different routes relatively nicely.
Finishing up some paths in Town of Nie Iromusubi, while hopping around Sympathy Kiss and Slow Damage, or maybe start Homicipher. Who knows, whichever can hold attention.
