Have you ever played a doujin otome game?
(For context, if you don't know: "Doujin" refers to works created independently by individuals or small groups within Japan's self-publishing culture.)
I've played a few: Sh[in]e, Lost magical and Yogore Naki Snow.

I really like games from tetrascope.
Other than that, I've also played Ao no Shigyaku Midori no Higyaku.
It's been a while, but I remember it being quite memorable in its own way.

Eyyy, such as Touken Ranbu. There are many personified swords in it, and my favorite is Tsurumaru Kuninaga! For a while, I was so obsessed with this game that I looked at a lot of doujin comics and doujin games based on it.

I know they(doujin games) exist, but due to limited time and energy, I've only played a few doujin otome games on the novelgame website so far... Thank you for mentioning these games, I'm a bit interested in trying them out (〃 ̄ω ̄)人( ̄︶ ̄〃)

I've played more doujin BL than otome, but I do like browsing Freem and BOOTH for games! I've enjoyed Doki Doki v Alice Panic (a Katekyo Hitman Reborn fangame) as well as some short titles like Issho no Noroi

I have played Monochrome Wizard & Monochrome Empire made by Dusk. The quality is really good and full voiced.

Tetrascope Sakuya and Watajuu were my first doujin otome which made me play many others they are nice contrast to the company ones and feel a little more personal

Not really, are there any decent ones? If it's doujin I'd prefer ones that get age-restricted contents with good voice acting. Without voice or very solid arts/music, I feel meaningless to be in the format of a game.

I've played a few. Indie games may be short, but they offer a wider variety of creative approaches compared to commercial games, so I really enjoyed them. The most recent game I played was 'Club Suicide'.

OMG that sounds sooo cool! I loved Hitman Reborn as a teenager(///ˊㅿˋ///) I would die for an otome game with them as LIs!!

Uhhh I played one or two lol.
One was called Deitsa no Makugire. It's one of the more popular Doujin otome games I feel like. Its sequel Folie Fatale was all over xwitter, but I haven't played that yet.
The other one I played was something Oniichan related. It was on novelgame.jp, which was also the platform I played Deitsa no Makugire as well.

I played it once, and it was an otoge doujin of kuroko no basket hahahaha... after that I never tried it again

I'd love to try playing some! Are there any specific titles you could recommend?

I have some on my backlog. I like the different artstyles and themes of smaller games, they have a special charm. Highest on my to play list are games by 妄想レトロピア
Can I Not Fall for Idols? was fun too. It was made into a paid game after exploding popularity.

Yeah, before I took a long hiatus, I played a lot of doujin games, but I've forgotten most of them now. One that I still remember is from Tetrascope and Half

Never once.

I like indie games, but I haven't found any otome games that I'd actually want to play.

Deitsa is one of my favourite otome games of all time. Tobari will forever in my heart.

OHHH, from Tetrascope i really liked SAKUYA, is a bittersweet story.

I dont really get to distinguish when a game is made from doujin or official companies since there are some companies that i havent hear about them before. For example, Tennenouji is quite famous in the BL games section, (luckydog1 specially) and result to be a doujin but then in VNDB appears the company that released the game is Woga? so im kinda confused.

And Club suicide, i thought it was made by a doujin, but Celtia is then a company lol
