Do you remember which character route you played first in your first otome game?

Still have never gotten past the prologue of my first otome game (it's Hakuoki LMAO)

I'm pretty sure the first route I ever finished was Kyousuke's from Storm Lover Kai
 
My first route was Hoshino Kanata's in Glass Heart Princess, and I completely fell for him. He still has a special place in my heart.

It was so long ago so I'm not even sure...But i play guys who I'm least interested in first so probably Wataru from Bloody Call.

I remember Noise-Voice of Snow- being the first Otome game I encountered (surprised that there was one person up there) but I can't remember who the character was for the first time, but I remember the last ending was impressive.
 
It was either Kent from Amnesia or Himuro sensei from tokimemo.
This reminds me, I had no idea how tokimemo system worked so I got my other men stolen by the friend characters all the time.
 
Madoka kijyo from tokimeki memorial girls side. At least it was the first time that I knew what I was doing while playing an otome, or just up to some point. I was close to finishing it but then for some reason I let way too many bombs go off without knowing the full effects it had so my run was ruined. So I just gave up. Here is a screenshot from 19 August 2024. He is the one with the purple hair.

No idea what Hazuki guy is doing here HE WASN'T EVEN IN THE DATE. But I might have hung out with him a couple of times before. You're nothing to me man. Hate it when tokimemo keeps trying to get us involved with the main love interests sometimes. Maybe the recent ones dont. No idea.

My first route was Kanata from starry sky and he has remained still one of my favorites of all time.

this can happen with any of the main guys, not just hazuki! i think it happens when you go on a date with a guy then another one in a short amount of time + they're both at a certain affection level iirc... that's how you activate best friend mode. i accidentally triggered this with shiki, he was just waiting at my door too lol

also tmgs3 is more forgiving with bombs, if you never go on a date with a guy you won't suffer any risk of him getting randomly mad at you

it's so nostalgic to think about first otome games i played ToT I don't remember my first game, it may be android game or maybe i played in browser some indie otome. I think it may be one of games by Shall we date or Okko devs. im not sure they even exist anymore, i feel so old lol Or lifespans of otome games are too short

Aahhh... That makes sense... heheheheh

After that whole bomb fiasco, I never made any passes to a single character other than my target in tokimemo 3 anyways, so it's nice that they got more lenient about it.

If I remember correctly, it was Ayato from Diabolik Lovers: Haunted Dark Bridal. Back then he was my favorite, so I was super excited to play his route

On Mobile it was Saizo Kirigakure from Ninja Love.
I think my first non mobile otome was Hakuoki DS and I'm not sure if I started with Hijikata or Saito. (wish I still had the saves from that ;w;)
 
the first route i ever played in an otome game was ulrik from steam prison and honestly i hated it lmao 😭 i remember finishing it and thinking damn this writing feels so poor the pacing and the development just didnt work for me at all it really didnt leave a good first impression on me at the time
 
Angelique i played it around 2008-2009 i was so young but i remember going alot to Zephel,Marcel and Randy
 
my first ever otome was My forged wedding and I played yamato's route first. But my first proper console otome was Amnesia and Shin's route.
