I've been very excited when I first saw this game announced back then in 2021. I'm also a big fan of Harvest Moon so this game totally my type but 4 years later and there's still no news
Is that other game Caricature camera? Cause tbh, I'm a bit worried about this one too.. Or maybe you're talking about 18trip? It's not a VN, but a joseimuke game with tower defense with a fully male cast (it even lets you choose male mc, and both MCs are voiced). It came out like two years ago or something, and it says on vndb that the writers worked on some parts of the game. I just really hope they are alright and will release atleast one of their "in development" vns at some point, or make a new announcement...
That's the thing. They only shared the update news toward their backer but when someone ask if the game still in development or abandoned in their steam (their itch page also has disabled the comments), the dev are not responding
. At least why not give some update news like "hey don't worry guys, we're still alive, the game is still in development" in their game store to let people know the game isn't abandoned.

I also heard rumors there's problem with their Kickstarter? And that's why at that time, it got delayed. But that's way long ago when the last time I tried to search more info about the game.
that's dope. i didn't even realize just how much content there was for it. i'd been avoiding everything but a few sample images because i wanted to wait for the finished product.. then one day it got taken off VNDB.
I'm also looking forward to the remake. The author seems to be busy with the scenario for a social game.
What gets me is that they apparently self-funded a Switch port after the initial Kickstarter too...I really hope that original release hasn't been delayed because they want to release the Switch port simultaneously. One of the public comments from a Kickstarter backer seems to imply the devs are postponing the release so it can include the reached stretch goal DLCs too which I think is a questionable decision at this point, instead of putting out the base game first and then the DLCs (like they did with their previous game Love Spell which was also on Kickstarter). The dev website seems to say the same thing about simultaneous DLC release.
I feel your pain, the promo art (character designs and even the BGs) was so lifelike and vivid that it drew me right in. I really enjoyed the demo too...THIS ONEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
