This just happened randomly last week. I tried deleting my cookies, caches, and history but nothing works. I tried using chrome, firefox, and microsoft edge but it's the same issue on all of them. I also tried using a vpn but it didn't work.

do you use any vpn or malware protection which blacklist our cdn url and image server?

I only have one website blacklisted and that's netscale.top. I can click on the broken image in individual posts and it'll take me to the image website just fine. It's just I can't see the previews from anime sharing. I check with three different PCs and it's the same issue on all of them.

After a week having , not only the preview, but everything blocked from loading at all for minutes i think i got the problem, not really sure it's exact as i'm writing but at least solved for myself.
This became really troublesome on the first page of this forum, and the length of the page is the origin of it, in fact there are really a lot of threads here:
https://www.anime-sharing.com/forums/hentai-games.38/
After same debug i found that that page is too long, chromium based browser like chrome , brave and chromium make a lot of requests, then cloudflare assume it's a dos attack and doesn't allow any communication from same minutes.
Beyond reducing the length of the page by reducing the number of the sticky threads that really are a lot, the problem can be solved by reducing the connections number and prevent cloudflare from triggering the protection:
In chromium engine there is an accelerator that cause the issue, from brave it can be accessed by typing in the url bar brave://flags/#enable-quic , i think that the same can be done with the other browser but i did not test , probably brave:// is to be replaced with chrome:// or something else (edge, opera , etc).

By changing the "expermiental quic protocol" to "disable" , the browser became less aggressive and the page linked in this post take more time to load, but the issue disappear.

I noticed that also firefox based browsers seem to trigger the problem sometime and other times work fine, but i suppose that fiddling with the advanced settings probably has the same effect.

Apologies for the late reply:

netscale.top is one of our cdn image servers. the other one would be valueimage.top, the reason you don't see any thumbnail is because you blocked our image servers. Unblock both and click on this link to see if the image are shown:

https://www1.valueimage.top/_mthumbnail/proxy.php?image=https%3A%2F%2Fiwtf1.caching.ovh%2Fto%2Fthat%2F2026%2F01%2F02%2Fmain_visual_sp_d53f4fbd1393f9c28.webp&hash=86c2c601afee725beb7bc274292e7f32?f=webp

ASF uses a number of domains to serve different things, including scripts, images, styling files, and mores. I can disclose these domains: jsdelivr.top, netscale.top, valueimage.top, 433212.xyz 788123.xyz, 192981.xyz

You probably wonder what's up with these domain name and that's because they are cheap. We have a very strict budget and cannot afford paying 20$/year for each proper domain name, so this is how we gonna do it. Personally I don't care whether people block those or not, if they do, we save tons of money on bandwidth anyway lmao.

then cloudflare assume it's a dos attack and doesn't allow any communication from same minutes.

It doesn't work like that, but I can tell you QUIC is unreliable at times, it had nothing to do with us however.

First check the list of domain above and make sure you didn't block anything from that list especially from jsdelivr as it serve crucial styling and js files.

They seem to be all reachable; maybe i'll try enable quic and see if anything happen while the pages stop loading.
Another thing i notice, using a proxy for debugging slow down the the page load (or just change quic behaviour) and the issue disappear; same using a free proxy extension on the browser like "japan vpn planet" extension that allow to bypass regional block.

edit: i can confirm that those url remain pingable when the browser is stuck and doesn't open the pages.
So i tried again with fiddler proxy, but passing trough fiddler does solve the issue even if is set quic to be enabled.

Examining palemoon that is a fork of firefox but doesn't support quic: on the same page with a lot of threads, once the page is opened preview of images start appearing after a minute while the browser keep at 100% one core of the processor, so is just the page to heavy for the browser.....

And no, disabling quic not always solve the problem, it just mitigate it.
The behaviour is that on https://www.anime-sharing.com/forums/hentai-games.38/ , only 1/3 of the preview is shown. I tried to clear the cache ctrl+shift+del , reload with shift+f5 and getting "connection closed" or unreachable site for same minutes;
Page 2 ,3 and others work perfectly fine once the page became reachable again , local proxy or vpn make first page slower but working.
I can't understand where it does fail, but the trigger seem to be first page being too heavy for the browser.

I don't have the issue anymore from two days; except for disabling quic protocol that doesn't seem to be the guilty one, i did nothing; other browsers are fine too.

I haven't experienced any slowdowns with the major browsers you mentioned. I try it with Pale Moon, and notice it is slow as well, particular requesting for image:

https://www1.valueimage.top/_preview/proxy.php?image=https%3A%2F%2Fiwtf1.caching.ovh%2Fto%2Fthat%2F2025%2F01%2F01%2Ftop_tou9aaeb3e9f551d55a.jpg&hash=871f7548a836dea09858fe4ab113a507?f=webp

I'm not quite sure why this happens, and while I'll take a closer look, I can't guarantee that I can resolve issues with Pale Moon, as it's quite outdated and we lack the resources or budget to accomodate.

I can, however, assure you that I haven't faced the issue you described on the first page of hentai games during my tests across multiple browser spread throughout from multiple continents.

There is a limit on requests per second per IP address. If you're using a VPN or shared proxy, the number of users on that connection can lead to throttling, though this is unlikely the case. The limits are generous enough to support two concurrent users on the site without any noticeable slowdown.

Curious, i confirm about that image fail to load the first time and have to hit f5 to load to palemoon; there is also an avx2 compiled version in tfreesoft that still support npapi and perform better.
Everything else work fine; all issues i had just disappeared without traces.

No modification were made during the course of our discussion. But I want to go back to OP topic whether unblocking netscale.top solve his/her issue.

@marshe717 Could you give me an update?
