Question can't open threads

hello,
i'm not very active here but i check for some games from time to time.
today though i cant open any threads in the Otome Games, Artbooks & CDs section. i don't know if this means i did something and was blocked from that area or if there is an issue with the site? i didn't get any emails and all my alerts here are gone

Even english is not my mother language too. We can hug each other too (laugh). i'm suck at english grammar but that's on it, as long as what we trying to say is understandable to others then it's fine i guess?

I also lurking for a long time here before decided to contribute some collection that i have here as some gratitude for every contributor/uploader that have been sharing rare games/bonus content they have for over years. Did the forum you mentioned is otomedream? I still remember back around 2015 i manage to make an account there with my limited chinese language (i think it's even worse now since i rarely touch them anymore). Guess what? i don't know how to earn point and stuff so i quit myself only to find out last year that my account there is deleted? and i think almost every chinese forum is like that? need some forum currency or donations? for example TS*M or ti*ba baidu.

It's not just in china, in global too finding something is harder than before, even old content that used to be shared publicly have gone into air like music album, games and other stuff whether they're deleted, expired or dmca'ed. Plus with the recent years trouble of big music, comic, game rom site closed down everyone is worried and gatekeeping stuff.

Anyway, i'm glad that you're manage to enter. I'm not mods or anything but welcome and enjoy your stay in here!

Yes, I was talking about OD. For non-native speakers, Chinese-language forums are incredibly hard to navigate; in my experience, only Japanese-speaking friends seem to manage smoothly. And if your account rank isn't high enough, it gets wiped after two years. Losing the account isn't the end of the world. OD's biggest edge is its in-house translation team: every Christmas, Chinese New Year, and other holidays they hold forum events and release brand-new translated works.

No, that wasnt my implication. I was just curious, I have always been curious to how much content is in otome dream, I dont speak chinese so its impossible and I hear they are very hostile to others. I expect half our content here gets stolen and uploaded in other places...

I hope that wasn't your intention, but your question is premised on the assumption that anyone who holds accounts on both sites is "suspected of mirroring resources."
Because of that, you asked me again, and it left me feeling as though I shouldn't be here—something that makes me feel awful.

   As an ordinary user, I find the entry barrier extraordinarily high—the highest I've encountered since I started using the internet.
   I'm not sure whether by "outsiders" you mean non-Chinese speakers or others; from what I know, even many native-Chinese users now struggle to get in.
2. Resource re-uploading
   Yes, someone is currently moving a large volume of material out of OD. Unfortunately, I don't know whether she has permission, but I have a pretty good idea who she is.

instead of saying, "Since both sites have the same material, why bother having an account here?"

Another confused lurker here after realizing I lost access to the Otome Games section! I definitely do understand the new restrictions even if they're not ideal for chronic lurkers to grapple with. ;v; I'm not quite sure of what the exact requirements to regain access are even after giving the FAQ and a few posts a read through, but I will attempt to be a tiny bit more active and contribute some posts!!

I reckon for most of them it's either they really hate/have great difficulty (perceived language barrier included) interacting with other people, or they're just lazy and can't be bothered to contribute at all.

Thanks for your team's efforts so far. I'm the new member of this forum, but also had help from blackflag. I hope you guys could be confident what you have done now and believe that everything goes better and better in this forum. I have had an account before but I forgot that account's id and password, that's why I created a new account to join again. I'm happy to see now there are some rules were set up to limit the access, even I cannot see some threads currently. I think this is beneficial to the forum from a long-term perspective and believe that I will get access again to see those threads.

thank you! i'm admittedly a chronic lurker and after noticing i couldn't access the otome games release section today i was so confused and even after reading most of this thread i was a bit confused at first how to fix it lol. but these new guidelines make sense and i appreciate the clarity :)
