needing to join a paid membership to get access to pirated games that other people pay for but somehow YOU get to own and get full access to at any time, is stupid. you don't get to get mad for people calling out the unethical play here
I am a biased member of the co-purchase group, so take from that what you will. The fact is,
we are all pirates here, so from my point of view, there is no right to complain, since we are waiting for someone very kind to "bend" the rules and share the game with us, just from the goodness of their heart.
I understand it might feel unfair to create private groups, but the truth is, the money goes to buying the games, not inside the leader pockets. Without this co-purchasing group led by
@blackflag (or previously by
@otome!), we would get nadda. And maybe having the game 2 weeks sooner than the rest of ASF might be a good incentive for someone to join, which helps fund the next projects.
Now, why the
2-week waiting period? You will hate me for it, but I suggested even longer than that. Even though not all of us will be paying for the game, we still want itto do well, so the next game will be made. The longer we wait, the more chances we will give the game to make money. Last, but not least, uploaders carry the risk (btw, thanks to all amazing ppl in here that contribute <3) of facing DMCAs (or even legal problems). The closer the upload is to the release date, the higher the risk it carries.
I wonder, what makes the above described as bad system and what should be changed to make it fair?
