Can I get some feedback on whether this file plays normally for other people? I downloaded it twice and it lags and is full of distortion.

There's stuttering when moving the video timeline to a different point, but it doesn't affect playback.

While we're on the topic of Pikpak, does anybody know of any tool that can automate

1. importing certain files into your space
2. download
3. delete the files and empty trash
4. Repeat in 6GB intervals until you've gone through the list?

Do you know if this would be viable? I honestly wouldn't have any trouble with Pikpak if this was a thing

I saw you guys talking about Pikpak, so I'll add my two cents. Haven't you noticed something odd? Why do they keep uploading to Pikpak, putting up with that clunky interface and slow download speeds?

The answer is Pikpak's referral program.

To get the files they upload, you absolutely must sign up for Pikpak. The 'free account' you create this way comes with a tiny 6GB storage capacity. Then, you have to move the files over to that tiny storage space before you can download them.

Here's where the problem lies. Most files uploaded by others will be massive. Collections spanning tens or even hundreds of gigabytes are commonplace.

(This massive upload capability exists because when you upload a file, pikpak checks its hash value. If it already exists on their servers, they add it directly to your storage.)

Faced with such massive collections, you'll likely grow frustrated with the free account's limitations and end up paying for a premium account.

This is precisely their goal. Once you pay, pikpak pays the uploader a certain percentage of credits, which the uploader can then cash out.

There's no need for referral codes like we commonly know. They simply upload massive files using the convenient method mentioned earlier and post links where many people can see them.

Simple and clever, right?

Of course, not every pikpak uploader on this forum is like that. Some genuinely share files with us out of kindness. But are they all like that?

Just because the upload method is simple, or because they profit from it, doesn't make it inherently evil. Yes, that's true.

But I hope you'll consider it differently. If you're in a position to pay for a pikpak premium account, why not use that money to support the content creators instead?

Is going through the middleman really necessary? The way to directly support the creators of the MMD videos and content you truly love, and to watch videos quickly and easily without waiting for a 'hero', is right next to you.

I want you to know that.

Just when I thought I couldn't hate the platform and its users more. Anyone using pikpak should be strung up by their balls on the nearest crane, since I doubt that a tree can hold their weight.

I myself have also benefited from the heroes who share things. Personally, I don't think we should complain. After all, spending time in exchange for something is quite normal. The heroes have no obligation to meet anyone's demands, and if you think the waiting time is too long, you can always choose to pay the creator or find another source.
The only thing that troubles me is some types of shares—for example, the ones that use riddles (I'm really bad at them), or links that are basically just ads with no actual download path, or Baidu links that only people in China can use.

Lmao, I thought the main purpose of this thread was to share files. Overnight it turned into a forum for complaining about download options. If you're not paying for it, I don't see the point in complaining. As someone who thinks the same way says, torrents would solve this community's biggest problem, but apparently a lot of people can't stand the idea of seeding…

Thanks for censor that. I don't want some fucker to ruin that too. Last time, I shared the mega storage bug, but it got patched in less than a week.

Anyway, the argument here feels like a chinese nationalist arguing with a democratic. It's ridiculous. I personally hate shitpak openly but I don't keep ask around to upload it to another platform (I only asked 2-3 times till now). You just face it, learn it, adapt to it. (Too lazy to upload the meme). Still the hate is there.

The only main problems with shitpak are the 20gb daily limit and the 6gb per file limit.

There's nothing wrong with it, and yet just because they personally can't download, they're acting annoyed and turning Pikpak uploaders into people who need to prove their morals and conscience.

I really don't think this conversation needs to be this heated. Every hoster has it's own issues or the need for a paid Premium, so I don't understand why this PikPak is singled out and treated so harshly by some people on here.
I bought a 1 Month Premium account for it two days ago to download the large collection someone shared and I haven't encountered any issue myself.

I also needed to buy a Premium for RapidGator (well I used dreal-debrid but still) to download files posted in this forum, which was impossible with just the free account since some files were either deleted, premium only or would have taken 8 hours to download.

If the files shared on PikPak allow it I am sure we can share them on mirrors for those not wanting to use PikPak, but I agree that this is completely impossible for large collections or large files.

I personally would also not spend a fortune to host terabytes of content on places like Pixeldrain if there is a cheaper alternative.

I started putting my foot where my mouth is and began zipping parts of an earlier posted PikPak collection to share them with you all in another way. It is only about five to ten percent of the whole thing so far. I am starting with the 600 GB "Monster" folder for now, but that is at least something, right? It will take a while though, and the upload will probably take even longer.

I wasn't meaning anything like that, nothing about forcing anybody. I was just meaning those who only share if they are trading seem scummy in comparison to the many others in here who share what they have without the requirement of having to obtain something in return for it.
