So, know this is an old game but I still like it. Lately, however, I'm having trouble getting it to work. I download it, install it, then run it and the text comes out mostly empty with occasional letters. I remembered the first game also had this problem and had a weird patch to run the game through called ALPHAromDie. I run it through that and... the game freezes. Anyone know what's going on?

It works fine for me, maybe you should change your locale region to jp (i don't know the problem that you encountered can be solved by this) or using Locale Emulator and try to re-install again..
