i know this is an old thread but i have a problem running this, i installed the game, then patched it but i still have a message:

64MB以上の必要ビデオメモリーが必要です

it's the first time i have a problem like this, with other visual novels i don't have any problems at all.
is this a problem of compatibility or something else?

It says it needs more than 64MB of vram. Maybe you're running a VM and didn't allocate enough vram?

I had this problem too.... and its your operating system. Its not 64-bit, only fix is a vm with 64-bit os. Literally the only game i've ever had with this problem, hopefully theyll re-release it later where it works on both 32 and 64 bit os.

I am using 64bit Windows 7 and it still doesn't work. Any thoughts on what OS to use? Is there a 64bit of Windows XP I could use with a VM? This game used to work, but I had to reinstall my OS and now it doesn't...

Might be the opposite then. Might need to be 32-bit. If you ever figure out a work around let me know lol

I found a work-around, a long painful workaround. I built a second VM with Windows XP and I raised the amount of RAM allocated to it(I have low RAM on my Windows Virtual PC VM). That worked, also it doesn't like dynamically allocated space, so if you use a VM for it, you need to set a fixed amount.
