How to play PVs?

Hello.

I just downloaded a PV torrent. How do I view it? It's extension is .ISO.
I tried to play in VLC and MPC, but didn't work.

Well I don't know the content of your .iso file because you're not telling what you downloaded but here's the general tutorial for opening .ISO files
Download and install Daemon tools lite.
Double click the .ISO file and it would automatically be mounted to your PC
Access the Virtual CD directory to browse the files

I want to avoid using DAEMON as much as possible.
I already had too many experiences of unscheduled reformats

Been using daemon for years and never had any problem with it.

Well if you insist on not using daemon, there are a lot of other softwares that can open ISOs. Winrar for one.

Weird, why would daemon reformat your computer? O_o

The file in question is just an average dvd movie. I can play the COZC912.ISO file directly in VLC/MPC-HC.

I would recommend updating your video players.
