Why do you choose FileFactory as a file hoster?

I am just wondering why you chose FileFactory as one of the file hosters? I have been a premium for 3 months only. And dear Lord, nothing but download trouble. The server is down, your files are temporarily unavailable keeps on repeating day by day for different servers ff09d04,ff09d01 and so on and so on. I have been writing a complaints note to them for like 5-6 times so far regarding the same issue but yet it keeps on going and the list of my unfinished files keeps on growing day by day. So far no satisfactory solution from them. Once they recommended me to change download manager and gave me a link to the forum re the best download manager for file factory. I am using JDownloader (latest update) and IDM v6.11 build 8, and OMG I have used two out of three from the ones they recommend. Seriously this file host sucks. They do replied well re my complaints but seriously if I have to keep on writing almost every single day, I better change my premium to somewhere else. :D

That's interesting... I'm a premium as well and have no trouble at all with downloading anything from FileFactory by the links posted here on the forum.

On a side note, JDownloader is just about useless because of all the crap that went on for all the file hosters. It's still good for youtube though.

I am not just using JDownloader, I know it is a bit buggy but the linkgrabber feature is nice. I am also using Internet Download Manager v6.11 Build 8 and in desperation, I am using the browser download (which is pretty crap since my internet speed is not that fast in the first place).

Edit: Okay, that's interesting... Your links are not available, but I took the liberty to search for the links using the forum's search engine and they work fine.

You may want to submit a trouble ticket to the uploader who posted the links and ask him to check on their condition.

the errors are always those, only for different files :D. And I do not mind paying as a premium as long I do not get screwed like this. They do admit that they got a problem with the server, they are buying new servers, servers overload. Well those same answers everytime I wrote a complaint.

I dunno, the links you posted didn't work.

But I went through the forum and found the anime series who's links you had posted. They worked fine.

Lemme try copy the link from the forum again then. Strangely enough FileFactory did admit that they have some problems. That is what dazzled me. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, FileFactory has been having a couple server issues, you are correct about that.

But your links are unavailable, but the same ones I pulled from the forum directly work... so for now, it could be just those specific files are included in the server issue.

I pulled them out from the forum. I downloaded them using IDM and they downloaded html files instead.

From the hosts I tested, they were one of the few with some semblance of stability and they're not likely to disappear after two months, as so many others did. Right now the filehosts around don't really fit in the "good" category, but in the "good enough" one.
That being said, I do offer mirrors to help people download and circumvent temporary server issues and replace files if the issues persist.

What I find funny though Corocoro, is that he can't use the links on his end of the line, but the same links I can use just fine.

Are you in the US or Indonesia bajoel_cilik?

Edit, try downloading without a download manager. Just do it normally.

I did try downloading without using a download manager. it came back with error messages "the server.... is taking too long to respond" or "the file you are currently downloading is temporarily unavailable, please inform us regarding this issue".

Hmm... I guess it's on your end of the line. I'm in the US, so the links work fine for me......for now.

All I can say is wait for FileFactory to get their stuff together or ask the uploaders(s) to use different sites.
