A new light bulb.

Must say I'm pleased. About 10 years ago, I bought those new energy saving, long lasting light bulbs (the ones that look like cork screws) for my house. Put them in every room.

Well, yesterday, after 10 years, one burned out, so I had to replace it.

They cost a bit more than the old tungsten bulbs (which burn out every 3 or 4 months) but I've certainly gotten my money's worth!
