Why is Asuna, the female lead - professional at cooking (Level 99) and weak, when she was first introduced as an amazing, mysterious and dazzling character Q-Q!

Her good cooking was mentioned early on. Yes, in the SAO arc, she was amazing. However, in the ALO arc, her avatar's characteristics are changed by Sugou because he's a freak for helpless women and weak opponents.
