AZUが、自身のバースデイでもある本日12月8日に新曲「again」を配信限定リリースした。
AZUにとって久しぶりの新曲となる「again」は、短編オムニバス映画『TOKYO CITY GIRL-2016-』の中の1編『あなたの記憶(こえ)を、私はまだ知らない。』の主題歌および挿入歌に起用されているナンバー。同作のために書き下ろされたという楽曲で、相手に伝えることの出来ない想いと、その想いに寄り添いつつ明日に踏み出そうとする想いが切ないメロディにのせて感情豊かに歌われる。
なお、AZUをはじめ、ねごと、Ms'OOJA、fumikaらがオリジナル楽曲を提供した映画『TOKYO CITY GIRL-2016-』は12月3日（土）より東京・お台場シネマメディアージュにて公開されており、今後も順次全国公開予定となっている。
