The purpose of this thread is to help and give insight to people who want to play (pirated) PC games on Mac or Linux computers. This is made possible through the WINE compatibility layer and Winetricks. WINE and Winetricks both work on Mac, however, I am a Linux user and if you have any Mac-specific problems, there is little I can do to help.

Some of the entries are outdated, however, regressions hardly happen on WINE, and I've already deleted some games, so I can't test them again for now.
Some games will work, but their installer will not work. For this, you will need to either install the game on a Windows PC and copy the files to your computer, OR you will have to install the game in a Windows Virtual Machine, and set the install directory to the folder on your host computer. (This is the preferred option.)

Remember to download the x64 versions and not the x86 versions.
Japanese games require Japanese locale and Japanese fonts in order to work. Using winetricks, you should install the verb "allfonts" to install Japanese, Chinese, and Korean fonts into your WINE folder.
On Linux, you need to open the command line, and run WINE in this fashion:
Where game.exe should be replaced with the name of your game.
