Oh, okay... To be honest, I did always searched after function/menu at GIMP where I the fonts outlines give could...xD

what i do is make a new window and make the background the outline colour then type the text with the font i want. then layer > transform > alpha to selection the select > grow > add size 1 or 2 the merge the text to the layer down and it adds the background colour to the outline and cut and paste into the graphic
