I'm new to all of this, I've learned the name of some artists, but I don't know the name of the magazines and where to buy them. How do authors promote their doujins and do they make a decent living?

The reason I got into Doujins is because of マイクローンマガジン, after reading a couple of vols, I felt Like I've been missing something this good for so many years I want more but I don't know where should I Start. For startes I'd really like to have all the volumes of the aforementioned manga but how, that's my question.

Thank you for reading.

Hi and welcome in the awesome world of hentai manga =P

the problem with most authors is that they only sell inside Japan, mostly presenting their books at conventions like comiket http://www.comiket.co.jp/index_e.html
or selling them on sites like https://www.melonbooks.co.jp/
You can try importing them using sites like https://my.whiterabbitexpress.com/ or https://www.amazon.co.jp/
also see if your favorite artists have a pixiv account http://www.pixiv.net/
All of this of course is for doujins in Japanese, if you're looking for english translations you should check if there are any fanmade ones or sometimes they even get official translations(although less frequently)

you can also check http://www.dlsite.com/ecchi-eng/ for digital versions
and if you like the doujins you will probably also like eroge visual novels and anime so check them out
a good place to look for galleries by author/fetish/series or characters is http://e-hentai.org/

there is also several periodic magazines that usually group up different works based on genre, the one you cited is Microne Magazine, mostly focused on shrinking the male character, this is their homesite http://irafyou.blog21.fc2.com/ there you should find links to their shop pages

Thank you very much for your well thought advice. I dont like DL Site, you need to log in into your acccount in order to read the manga Online. But I'll see which method suits me best and go from there.

Doujins are basically derivative work from an original series. It could mean H-doujins (Hentai doujins) or doujins (fan-fiction).

For a non-H example, check this one out:
Pokemon - Festival of Champions (oujinshi by Seijun Tombo)

Wrong, Doujin simply means it's an indipendent work, so self-published.
It can be a parody or fan-work of an existing series or a completely new story with characters created by the author.
As I said in previous posts, conventions like comiket are the main place where douijins get sold.
