So some thoughts on Atelier's announcement for new Marina game...

First off - what the heck is Fantia? The game was announced as being made with them, from what I can tell its a fan service for people or companies to follow? So then this "new" game with Fantia is basically Atelier's way of interacting with its fans...but isn't twitter that already? I mean the poll is on twitter not Fantia's website...

Nah, i disagree. It probably will not for ALL. only half part stories like Marina 2. I lobe Marina 2, but i hope they be more creative instead. Reharshing old games.

Anim actually produced some doujin manga and it's related for character from Boku Mama x Tomo Mama and Boku ni Dakare Aegu Tsuma wa. Well now I'm even more confused about FANTIA - if its DMM then I COULD see them producing the game as they've done in past with other companies but then they sell it exclusively as a DMM game - I don't think thats what this is. Can you sell games on Fantia? I'm still rather confused as to what their involvement is, they are officially linked (Fantia) in Ateliers twitter header now. So I assume its meant for more "fan" involvement? I dunno...

Per the options of voting I'm shocked more about the choices tbh, especially seeing Hiroto as again its meant to be a crossover...I'm curious overall how they came these choices and I assume it related to the overall story. Bring me to..

So actually following my last line of thought and the title change of the game - I suspect there WILL be a NTR element to this game now. Something "has changed" and if I was to put two and two together, seeing Hiroto in the poll makes me think that Marina might actually leave or have an affair now true NTR style by the games end. Why? Because she had a pre-existing relationship with Hiroto and clearly liked him, so from a writers point of view adding him to the poll as one of the characters Marina seriously NTR's kenji bad ending and all, makes some sense because you could argue they already had a connection. So why would Marina leave Kenji? Because he asked for NTR again.

She spent SO much time trying to teach Kenji to drop this fantasy in different ways, then it got really nasty (in a bad way lol) by the end of the third game, to the point where he is surprised that she agrees to it again in this new game. So Marina might be of the mindset that Kenji will always have this fantasy and she can't be with him anymore, enter the other guy she falls for. Hence why Hiroto being on the poll might be a clue to the direction of the new game. HOWEVER I'd still love to see anybody but him win, honestly Hiroto was never going to get her or he would have now. He had his chance and I'd love to see a different guy really bring the NTR on or shake things up at the VERY least netorase style.

As for POV I believe we will still get Marina scenes, either in the gallery or in the second play through - whats changed it the type of netorase taking place and Marina's deeper motive.

Oh thats interesting, so I was checking the last Marina game released...er release date and it was May 2016, based on Atelier current time frame for games I wouldn't be surprised to see if they released this new game in May - which would make it literally 4 years to the day since the last Marina game/between releases. Yes its been FOUR years.

He literally is underused and we have no idea what crazy NTR he will bring to the table. To me he is the most exciting option because there is more mystery around the type of sex and NTR he will bring, plus there is little use of him in previous games so the new artwork will really be fresh.

All we know is he makes girls lose it when they have sex with him, like froth at the mouth stay away from him. Plus he was in the angel game, where people were forced to fuck other people while being NTR themselves - so he's slightly damaged lol. If written properly he could be real fun and unexpected for the new Marina game.

I voted for the first guy since he got Mariko to cheat, even if later on it was Netorase. I actually think Hiroto is a more interesting choice than people are giving credit for, but only If it's a sequel to Marina 3, he is the closest and perhaps best placed to take her away (if anyone could). Guy 4 sounds interesting since its sounds as though he is a bit more hardcore than the others. There are only 263 votes so that suggests either the choices aren't inspiring much or the popularity of the character is lower in Japan than on this thread. #4 is in a close second as well.

To be honest i'm a little concerned about this as a project. Firsty i need confirmation that Gentle Sasaki will be doing the CG again, secondly that it's going to be a full game, and thirdly that they have someone decent writing it. Doesn't fill me with confidence when it's 'we don't really know what to do, so let's turn it over to the fans'. That type of fanservice rarely pays off.

Here are my worries.
1. The game concluded with happily ever after and there would be no more netorase because obvious concern of Kenji and Marina breaking up. It would be a stretch to say that they went back to it.
2. If it is a in between story, for example, it takes between first game and second game, then the storyline would be mediocre. Simply 2nd game and third game addressed and pushed Marina's limit sexually and emotionally without resulting in divorce. So the in between story would be about ok to good sex with a random guy which would be disappointing.
3. If it is a parallel world, then it really is not a Marina game.

So those are my concerns but then my imagination stated to fly and started building a wish list lol. Here are the list of things I wanted to see but never realized in Marina games, not in order.
1. Marina as a bride of her bull.
2. Wedding ring play, like Lovemilf game.
3. Knocked up by her bull, gets an abortion in secret.
4. Anal sex.
5. Dye her hair blonde and goes on a date with her bull in a slutty outfit.

One of the earlier Atelier Sakura game featured a cheating wife who got knocked up by her lover. The husband found out by finding her abortion paper she hidden in the house. I know the storyline would not be like that game but I always wished the next Marina game to follow something like that game's story line. Something like Marina have an affair, not serious, just a little mistake while drunk or something like that but then it becomes more deep and serious that Marina gets knocked up. Kenji notices Marina's belly and makes comment and Marina decides to get an abortion. And kenji does not find out until few years after the end of the affair and decides to not to mention anything and stays in the marriage.

Maybe I am over excited and ended up getting disappointed when the game comes out...

Well all we know for sure as stated by Atelier Sakura themselves is that it IS a sequel to Marina 3, because Kenji asks her to netorase play again and she agrees (to his shock after the events of the last game). So the poll is to decide who Kenji picks this time for her new partner.

Beyond that we know nothing.

So its been confirmed via his twitter that the original artist for Marina is returning to do the artwork. He also stated that if the "project" is well received, he would be interesting in doing a sequel with Mayumi for 貸し出し妻、真由美の”ネトラセ”報告 商品ページ with Kouichi from Marina 2.

I know velka leaves it out trying to give devs some sales- but games uploaded more recently are being completed and this one still without all it's parts..

Been really unimpressed with Autonoes previous games- and this one looks like it has too many characters for any meaningful ntr genre. But synopsis(and review) implies this one is a bit different in perspective. So figured i'd give it a try.

Yeah, to be honest unless it's going to get really dark I don't think it will ake much difference who the guy ends up being. Gentle Sasaki has drawn very hardcore stuff in the past (in other games) so he'd probably be willing. My preference would be;

Marina doesn't really like the guy, but looses to the cock.
New positions and sex acts. Not much point seeing more 'vanilla'. Could be interesting if she has deveolped a bit of a 'rape' fetish after the events of 3.
Kenji shouldnt be there for most scenes. Far more interesting if she is doing things away from him.
