I recently played Iroyoridori too and really enjoyed it, it's a must play unless you are really anal about the heroine being the MC's lover. It was my first Jinsei game and I already downloaded the others although I wager since this one is the most recent it has perfected or attempted novelties that I wont find in older ones, I wont get peace until I play every one of them. Anyway, my 2 cents about this one:
A big thumbs up to the use of female sub characters early, it servers the purpose of establishing the prowess of Hasegawa and also makes the intro a lot less tedious than most NTR stories (I also love acidental voyeurism, so plus plus plus). It also helps that some of the girls have either a history w/ the MC or are girls he is attracted to, so there is some level of NTR to them as well, the disbelief of seeing them subserviant and self-loathing when he fails to keep them out of "NTR train" Hasegawa's way. I also loved the use of twitter and the whole "since we're buddies check this video of me and her getting it on" moments, but I feel it could be better used to add mystery to the game... plus, it becomes somewhat of a plot hole since it means the MC always had the means to convince Mizuki that Hasegawa was bad news, but as far as that is involved he proved to be a real wimp of a protagonist which is one of the downsides of the game... but whatever keeps the NTR moving, I guess. I can dig that a part of him wanted to see the girls having sex and he only realized he cared for Mizuki when Hasegawa started stirring the pot, but the "mizuki is different, she wont fall for that" chant can only justify so much. On that note, through a relevant portion of her "complete slut transformation" the MC kinda shuts down and doesnt want to know what is going on, which doesnt work for me. As the MC he needs to be more involved =V

I get your point, what you meant is the suspension of disbelief what makes you not accept how the writing just doesn't strikes you as convincing, it had happened to me, like how does nobody knows this guy keeps banging every girl and getting away with it without nobody noticing? I mean at least one of those girls being you know girls would have started gossiping and spread it like a fire and the MC was like "really? Just that and you let it happen?" it wasn't just being coward it was more like becoming more of a bystander and less of a MC. But I guess that was "necessary" to make the ntr move forward with the power fantasy antagonist.

Furthermore judging by vndb vote comparison and A-S member opinion, the second game fares worse than the first though still does decent when it comes to overall ranking. Still it begs to question, who is gonna review a game that isn't completely available yet.

As the summary says, the guy's life has gone down the toilet and he's getting revenge on the guy who bullied him back in school and profited from his current misfortune, by stealing their wives. It's typical revenge netori, so I never bothered with it.

Been busy, but finally delved into Iroyoridori. Another great game from one of the leaders in NTR, and that's coming from someone that frequently dislikes a lot of the elements Jinsei games are built around(hetare profags, school-aged characters, lack of romantic relationship between the main couple) but the circle does all of the little things right 95% of the time, and that's worth experiencing. Also, they are amazing at moral degeneration/corruption.
This time around, things are a bit lighter than before in some respects. The antagonist is a complete dudebro, and I loved him. If not for the fact that the profag is such a loser, he could easily be his actual buddy. I don't personally care for the protag, but that's typical for me in Jinsei games(the one from Honto no Kimochi was the only one even halfway decent) and it's not to say he's poorly written or anything, I just don't like weak-willed, indecisive pussies that only act masculine in the wrong instances.
There's a happy end, so folks looking for that can enjoy before or after they delve into the worse stuff. Unfortunately, there's very little mystery this time around. Even without the girl's perspectives, the profag witnesses most of what is going on(the only really important thing he misses is how Dudebro seduces the main girl, Mizuki)through videos or reading the Dudebro's conquest blog, and already knows exactly what kind of guy he is, having seen him 'steal' other friends and acquaintances at the school.
The circle is always improving; this time they do a very good job of showing the girls fall more realistically/less extremely. Dudebro is just a handsome, smooth-talker that is great at sex, and he makes the girls he seduces love sex, too. There aren't radical changes like in some of the previous games(though, you know me, I'm a bastard and love that shit), the girls start the game being sweet, kind-hearted, and lively, and end the game being sweet, kind-hearted, and lively while loving sex and Dudebro. Mizuki is a wonderful character and it's a treat to watch her turn sex-crazy. And it's a nice change from the usual tanned, tatted, drug-using turbo slut(but, of course, I love that, too).
This one won't be for everyone here, but give it a shot and I hope you won't be disappointed. I care most about the girls in these games, so I quite enjoyed it.
As an aside, Kabe 2 was not well-received by some here, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Different strokes for different folks, so I'll avoid getting into a debate, but you should try it if you're interested. Anim has great production values if nothing else, and there are some amazing scenes in it. Kedamono is good stuff, as well, but definitely not to everyone's taste.

I also quite like Iroyoridori, but for the exact opposite reasons as you. I find it easier to identify with the passive introverted type than the fearless extroverted alpha guy who does whatever he wants and always gets away with it.
Though I'll admit that while I can understand why he couldn't do anything about the other girls that came first, since it felt totally like any chance he had to build a relationship with them was derailed as the other guy stepped in, easily pushed the protag aside and said and did whatever it took to make the girl put out for him. Probably me, I bought the game when it came out and started breaking it down. I stopped mostly because i lost interest in the game and didn't read through the second half as much compared to the first half.
Anyway i'm going to open up the cg/memories section to see how well my memory serves me.
The first act of the game is mutual wife swapping. It doesn't exactly start like that though. The main character's boss tells him about his erectile dysfunction and asks if he would have sex with his wife as the idea seemed stimulating to him. The main character seems interested in the idea and talks to his wife about it. She's annoyed because he's a "yes man", so to get him to say "no", she says she'll only agree if she helps his boss while he's having sex with his boss' wife. Obviously he agrees as there would be no story, but she seems annoyed and upset by this.
So the first act is mutual wife swapping. Mutual in a sense because she knows whats about to happen with her husband. But he doesn't know what she's about to do. I don't think it was ever truly implied to her husband that she'd get stimulated too, especially not sex.
The swapping continues and the boss starts to ask if he could touch her. She's reluctant but she really enjoys it, so much so she ends up masturbating in bed after getting touched one night. The swapping escalates to cunnilingus, and then finally intercourse. What spurs her on to keep pressing further and agreeing to the requests of the boss is the moaning heard through the walls of her husband and the boss' wife. She's annoyed and jealous.
It's very different to the first game, where the swapping always took place in the same room. Except for two occasions, all the swapping takes place sepperately.

They end up kissing in the same room, and the boss somehow convinces her to give him a blowjob then and there. That's when the boss' wife wakes up and she joins in! all the while the main character is asleep!
A few more swapping nights go by and then finally there's that scene where the main character walks in on his boss and wife having sex (doggy style on that couch). If i remember correctly this is where they decide to stop the wife swapping.
It doesn't go that way though. The wife and the boss end up exercising together every morning alone, which leads to outdoor sex. I think the husband comes around at this stage and finally agrees to re-initiate the wife swapping.
The four go to a formal work event / dinner of some sort and after they go to a love hotel. In the male PoV route you get the option to share a room, you don't get that option in the female PoV route so you end up sharing a room with the boss.
This is around the time she's truly lost herself to the boss. They end up having sex in the love hotel, the main character calls to say that they're done and they should meet up, but the boss and the wife want to keep going so they make up the story that she's not feeling well and she's sleeping. She feels extremely guilty but it's what she wants. They end up having sex multiple times into the night.
The final tipping point occurs when the wife catches her husband and the boss' wife having sex (when she was trying on swimming outfits). This is around the time she begins dressing a bit differently too. If i remember correctly this is because he came inside her, something she never permitted.
Next up is the villa by the sea. The same villa from the first game! That night you have sex on a bed next to your sleeping and drunk husband. In the husband's PoV it looks like they just have sex once, but in reality they do it several times without protection and he's ejaculating inside every time.
Then there's that bondage group sex session thats in both routes. Then another group sex scene that seems to be limited to the heroine route.
The Ferris Wheel where she gives the boss a blowjob in the other car. Her first anal experience at the love hotel with the boss.
Now she's completely broken.
One day while her husband is at work, the boss has a day off and they fuck from afternoon till night. Then another day there's that phone call scene where he's at work and they're clearly having sex while he's talking to her.
Then finally, theres the part where the husband finally steps in and routes start emerging. In total there are three endings.
Ending 1: They continue to live at the boss' place. In the male PoV, this appears to be the "safe" ending as there is no tattoo, in reality it's not. The boss' wife, the main characters wife, and the boss end up agreeing to a sexual relationship together. To my knowledge, the main character is never informed of this.
Ending 2: They move out. She's unsatisfied with the sex. This route has two endings, one where she doesn't see the boss again and it's the good ending, the other where she does end up seeing the boss again, they have sex twice (one is pregnant sex), she gets a tattoo above her clit, and it's more or less implied the baby is the boss' and that their sexual relationship never ends.
Ending 3: They remain living there and the wife maintains a sexual relationship with the boss. They have sex in a love hotel mostly. This would be the "broken" route. She dyes her hair blonde, gets that tattoo in this route too. One night she has sex with her husband but she's being dominant. This makes it unclear who's baby it is. Then there's that final scene with the wife, boss, and his wife having sex on the couch as the husband is coming home and they're saying "welcome home" "I'll start dinner after this".
Final thoughts:
The husband and wife were too detached. Their sex life was already stale and their relationship was a bit stretched as it was. At times this almost felt vanilla and didn't feel very much like an NTR. This wasn't an issue to me in the first game.
It felt like this a lot of the way through. It was only really kind of exhilarating up until she gets caught having sex on the couch near the beginning.
The animation from Anim is underwhelming. It's more like a small jiggle now. I'd rather see full strokes, not little movements. Looking at the first game it didn't really have this problem at all. Seems to be a recent issue, i remember it being an issue in Anim's Mother & Wife games too.
The heroine had a great voice actor. She knew how to be expressive with her voice and used it really well. It's always pleasant to listen to a talented voice actor in eroge, especially when most are the rejects that couldn't make it.
Endings 1 and 2 were too similar in terms of NTR.
Would I recommend buying it? No to be honest. The first one I would, along with Truma no Biniku too, but not this one. Especially when you have to pay a lot extra to get it out of Japan. Maybe if it comes to Dlsite.
Probably me, I bought the game when it came out and started breaking it down. I stopped mostly because i lost interest in the game and didn't read through the second half as much compared to the first half.
I never get any opportunity to buy games but I keep tabs on people that do. Honestly the ones who buy it and care enough to leave a review are more reliable than just anyone who can throw a vote around on VNDB. Still both vndb and people who bought it disliked it specially compared to first. When I say "dislike" I don't mean overall but comparatively to first. If you haven't played the first one at all then second one stands alone just fine. I didn't get to play the second one at all but I get the distinct feeling the company spent more on DRM measures and way too less on content itself.
If I had the money I'd probably buy it, because I went to the trouble of playing through the parts of it available through the trial .exe and really enjoyed it. Wish there was a way to buy a pre-owned game or something for cheaper, or that there were sales or something.
